Leo Santana | 14 comments Generally all the African-Americans were dehumanized and were treated as animals or even worse. However not all the slaves were horribly treated, it depended on the skills that the slaves had. Furthermore, some slaves had the goal of self-improvement and the goal to get their humanity back. For instance the story of F. Douglass a great, clever man. In conclusion "The narrative if Frederick Douglass is an example of the reasons and goals that a slaves had to become free and get humanity back.

Great use of transitional words, and a quick explication of the text! I'm curious about "however, not all the slaves were horribly treated, it depended on the skills the slaves had"; I'm trying to remember when this happened. Can you think of an example?

Leo Santana | 14 comments what I mean is that even the situation that the slaves were on, not all of them get the same treat, because some of them were dedicated to take care of the childrens and others as the regular worker which worked all day long in the plantasion.
