I have a Kindle. Don't know what version. Got it last year for Christmas. I love it!

I think it's just the regular Kindle, and you can only buy books through Amazon, as I've unfortunately found out.
All right. That's what I thought... it seems that you can only buy through B&N with the Nook which leaves the Kobo. I think you can buy from different stores with that....

Yeah, sure do. It's best to get a warranty for it as well, just in case something bad happens to it. That way, you can get a replacement for it. You'd have to send the old one back to them of course.

Spade is the main character, a detective, in an old novel called The Maltese Falcon, written by Dashiell Hammett. There was a movie made from it that starred Humphrey Bogart.

I haven’t, but a few months ago I changed the settings on my account to block most messages. I usually get requests in another group I’m a moderator in, though, so I don’t think the settings are the problem.
