This was my review when I finished it - would definitely encourage you to give it a go:
If you're looking for a quick/easy read, then this book is definitely not for you. I felt I trawled through the first part, although when I reached the second half, I found it strangely compelling and couldn't put it down.
It deals with King Henry VIII's court in the period before and during his marriage to Anne Boleyn, but don't let that put you off if you're not a lover of historical fiction - they story is really good.

I really enjoyed it once I got into it. By the end I couldn't put it down.
