Adding Books

Hi, I've made it so anyone can add books to the bookshelf. Because there is such a wide range of topics just within opera, as you may have noticed, I've made different "types" of shelves. I will try to add some more types of shelves later today or tomorrow, but if you add a book that does not fit the shelf existing, please feel free to make up a shelf -- shelves of course may need to be renamed as we add more and more books, of course.

I had been hoping to find a decent repository of Opera-related books. Having not found one, I am hoping to help build one here. The real value for me though is to have decent discussions and reviews of those books here so that someone could get a decent feel for the book and not waste time effort or money reading something that is ultimately not interesting to them...or at least TRY to avoid that.

Hello! I'm new here. Just wanted to mention that I added a couple of books to the shelves -- not all of which I've read yet -- and would love to hear about them (my unread ones) or discuss them (the ones I've read!) with anyone here.

Would also love to hear what opera-related books you all most highly recommend -- I haven't read very many.
