Patricio | 14 comments I mean, in what sf world you read you would like to live ?

I would say after seen the movie Pandora is a very interesting planet ( I loved those "Matisse" floating mountains ).

I also give a chance to Alliance-Maui from Hyperion with the traveling islands

and Chasm City ( A.Reynolds ) surely is a curious and fascinating world to see.

Jasmine | 2 comments I would like to live in the Myst world dreamed up by Robyn and Rand Miller (originally as a video game, but later adapted into and further fleshed out by the Myst Trilogy of books). The idea that you can write whole worlds into a book and then visit them is astounding enough, but the actual under-the-crust world of D'Ni would be amazing to explore.

And funnily enough, if you wanted to explore it, there was at one point an MMO via the internet based on exploring D'Ni, so this was sort of a fulfillable wish once upon a time. :-D

colleen the convivial curmudgeon (blackrose13) | 2717 comments Well, I'm going to pick a fantasy world and say Harry Potter, but only if I was a witch - though I'm not sure what the American school would be. I guess I could always move to Britian, though. :>

Dennis Pennefather | 54 comments I would love to live in Adam Newman's world(s)i.e._Earith_ dimension pre 'The Jump' and then make the 'jump' with him, Eve, Maddy, and Noah to the Earth dimension of 198,000BC, to husband the development of the human race on Earth right through to modern times.
Then again...perhaps I already did, and I wrote 'The Understanding' from genetic memory, before my sub-soul returns to the love of 'I'. I must check that out with Mundae....He will know!
