Author Combining Problem

I would like to combineMeg Waite Clayton and Meg Clayton as they are the same but it gives me this message when I try..."Sorry, this author is on Goodreads and is responsible for editing their own data. Data for other authors can be edited if you have librarian status."

You have to edit the authors name within each book (change Meg Clayton to Meg Waite Clayton within each book listed in Meg Clayton's profile). Then change Meg Clayton to some other listing that exists (I changed it to Not a Book). But anyway - I took care of this listing.
