Kymela (kymelatejasi) I am writing several things at once. Two series of novels, a series of comedy short stories, screenplays for a favourite book series of mine and a screenplay for my most favourite British TV series.

The novel series are both based in Chicago, my favourite city so far. One is a normal detective story-two detectives on the police force investigating mostly murders. It starts with six friends. A classmate of at least two of theirs (why they are such good friends, but not in the same schools might get explained in full detail in their own series, however it's only briefly mentioned in the two books they're in) goes missing and is found dead later. They also start off the supernatural detective series when one of the friends is killed while the others are having some fun. This series is about three unlikely friends-an Irish mage, a Welsh vampire and an Italian unicorn. It is both fantasy and science fiction because it has just about any kind of mythical creature you can think of including new species. Many are domestic, but many are also alien; meaning from other worlds, dimensions and planets.

The series of short stories is for comedy relief. They're based on D+D games that some friends and I play. They can be hilarious at times and I thought it'd be really funny to write some of them. They have no relations to any world of D+D that exist. The terrain simply just whatever Bob and Tim come up with.

The first set of screen plays is based very strongly on the Artemis Fowl series. Children's books, I know, but children's books are surprisingly well written and interesting. The second is for Doctor Who. I don't expect them to actually be used, but I wanted to write them anyway. The first set won't work anyhow. They are based on David Tennant as the tenth Doctor-one of my Doctors. :D The second will be based on the eleventh Doctor once I get the feel of him. I'm rewriting them just in case. ;)

My goal for the first few weeks this year is to write the outlines of most of them, at least one a week. And to think of names! Then it'll be about 100-150 words a day. I'll be very busy with schoolwork starting next week...

Kymela (kymelatejasi) *Gasp* I forgot about my blog. I'm going to try to write something there, too. Every day.

Kymela (kymelatejasi) So far I've managed to write in my blog two days in a row. Great achievement for me! XD

Paul Interesting. A friend and I, co-directors of Blind Samurai Films, came up with a treatment for a two-part Dr Who season finale. A couple of days later, the (then) season finale appeared - it was uncannily similar. I think we might unknwowingly be Russell T. Davies!

I'm writing another season finale, for the season afetr next, but I'm waiting to see how the new Doctor copes before doing much with his character.

Kymela (kymelatejasi) I wanted to write one were it was just Luke and the Doctor. I thought it'd be really funny to see those two fighting to seem like the smarter one. However, I have to see if it would even work the the new Doctor. I had planned it for the tenth, so...yeah. XD

Kymela (kymelatejasi) Now I'm thinking of writing one where Jack meets the new Doctor; if they don't already have that planned. Jack's not even going to realise it's him till the Doctor starts explaining something at 90 miles an hour.

Kymela (kymelatejasi) I've been able to find things to write in my blog, but until I do enough research I can't write my novels. I also can't write my short stories right now 'cause I need my friends' help, so I'm kinda stuck on the literary part...

Kymela (kymelatejasi) I'm still not liking how it's going for me.

I can start my first novel, though; but it's only the first chapter, until a friend can get my questions answered. And I'm finally going to get that one short story written down! XD

Kymela (kymelatejasi) I've started on a new story that I think I'll get further with than any of them right now. It was inspired by the song World of Stone by Blackmore's Night and is about three siblings who have to fight a wizard on their own. They do get a little help from a phoenix named Abir and a mage named Sakhiim who are from another series I started. They are in the same 'verse as the other series.

As for the screenplays, I want to try a three-way cross-over with Doctor Who, Torchwood and the Sarah Jane Adventures. It'll be a three part with only the SJA and maybe DW showing on CBBC. Don't need Torchwood on there. My idea was to have an adventure where they are all trying to solve the same thing, but none from the other two shows actually sees or hears about the Doctor being there and he never sees everyone else except Amy and Rory, but the meet some of the others. Kind of like in Partners in Crime when Donna and the Doctor were investigating Adipose at the same time, but didn't realise it. If I can do it right, I think it'll make for the most awesome DW story ever. :D
