I think Will is a better character than people assume.He won't be the traitor... in fact, I haven't heard anyone speculate that he'll be the one to switch sides...
The majority that I've heard are Jem and Jessamine (and a few Henry's)...

I think Henry will be the bad guy. Just from how talktative he was with mortmain and hes into that kinda stuff right? And he is like an outsider at the institute..

Oh she'll get more into it...or she'll just leave altogether. But we can count on her not staying where she is now, cuz her position now doesn't fit into the book well...

I think Jem would have a good motive to be the traitor. Don't get me wrong, i love him, but what if he becomes jealous. See, maybe Tessa will like Will better, and Jem sees that. But i don't know, Jem is not William.
It cant be Jem. It says Tessa gets closer to Jem in CP, so if has to be either Jem or Will, I think it would be Will. Besides, Jem is too nice - something you cant really say for Will.
yeah, you're rightbut I don't think it'll be Will. Sure, he's a tortured soul, but i just can't see him being a traitor. I also can't see Jessamine be a traitor, or Charlotte. That leaves Sophie or Henry.

i think it might be sophie for reasons that i don't know much about myself. But, Cassandra Clare has a way of doing things that surprise us- and Sophie might not even cross most of her reader's minds. I know i didn't think of it until yesterday!
this is totally out of the blue but what is the traitor is Charlotte....i mean i have no idea but no one will ever suspect her....its just a thought
Honestly, I think anything is possible with Cassandra Clare... it could be anyone, and I think we'll all be surprised by who it is and what their motive behind their actions is...:)

This is gonna sound random after all the 'who will betray Tessa' discussion, but i had to say this...I think Will is gonna die!!! Sad i know. The reasons for this are...
1)Jem dying would be way too predictable
2) Tessa is probs gonna end up with Jem cuz the alternate would mean that the story is dangerously similar to TMI (Clary ditching Simon for Jace). Also,Cassie said that in the end, Tessa doesnt get to pick. If one of them dies, it would mean that Tessa wont get to pick one of them - cuz only one will be left.
3) The magnus quote from COLS shows that either Jem or Will is gonna die.
4)Clary said that seeing Jace was like seeing a ghost for Tessa at the end of City of Glass - it probably reminded her of Will, cuz they are quite similar.
5)In Cassie's character QnA, Magnus said that he failed Will and that few people ever knew the real Will. He obviusly has a secret which causes him to act the way he does. These lead me to believe that Will doesnt have a happy ending as if he did, then surely, his secret would have been resolved and he would have stopped acting like an asshole. And without sorting out his dark past and secrets that lead him to pushing Tessa away, he cant really end up with her.
P.S. Sorry about the massive essay! :) Any thoughts...

Will isn't really an ass, again he really hasn't lied yet.
Will loves Tessa to much to betray her.
Tessa could end up with niether of the boys.
ummm... #4, umm... WHAT!?!?! i don't understand what u wrote! Clary doesn't know Will! and the end of that book was NOT in Tessa's POV.
and failing Will, some people say Magnus new Will long before and something happened way before CA.
And lastly Cassie says that Will's Secret will be revealed i the upcoming books (i think it might be a demon that hints it in CP)
now, heres my rant...Tessa doesn't look like a warlock, Axel says that she isn't exactly a warlock, that she was something else so what if she IS furtile?
just a thought.
it just came after reading 'The things you don't know' on Fanfiction.
I doubt Tessa is a warlock tbh. Like its way too predictable. Ugh Mortmain doesn't deserve the name Axel.

well that is most definitely a different reaction... i guess you aren't a Will fan... BUT I AM! i think he is mentally very insecure, and he is a jerk to tessa because he PURPOSEFULLY doesn't want her to like him. he thinks that making her dislike him will protect her... oh how i LOVE WILL!
You know everyone I know in real life who has read this book is Team Jem. There is only one person who can get away with being jerkish and that is Damon Salvatore.

no i did not miss that part. he was a tad upset in the end... did you notice that? and he showes a nicer side, something happened in his past and it was just holding back some things (like asking about her brother or pulling her into his arms at the end) that he didn't do and that does not mean he's bad in any way. and yes i know the front he gives everyone else is an act, he did show a vulnerable side here.
