Shocking Stuff!!

I have not heard of Mark Gibbs before, and it seems that this is his only book. But he has come out of left field with this. It is a real shocker, especially for anyone who believes in the Christmas story. I mean it's not unusual for books to come out that criticize Christianity etc, but I have never come across it done in this way and so convincingly. Gibbs methodically, and with a lot of detail, explains that Jesus was the offspring of Mary and Zacharias, a priest mentioned in the New Testament as the father of John the Baptist. He brings Leonardo and a bunch of artists into the mix and analyzes the paintings to show how they revealed Jesus' secret parentage. It's a bloody good read...I'd love to hear what the Catholic Church has to say about it.
