Um, somewhere around 250 or so. But I don't really keep track of my reading. But that's going to change in 2009, since I joined a challenge group where I HAVE to keep track of what read during the year.
I finished 106 this year. I am on 107 with 100pgs to go so I'm not sure I'll get that on the list! lol I won't add it to my 2010 list either since I started it in '09. I'm striving for 125 this coming year but will settle for another hundred. :)
My goal was 200. I've read 211 so far, and hope to finish A Caress of Twilight (Meredith Gentry, #2) today for 212. Same goal for 2010: 200.
I read 162 which is my best count since I started keeping track in 2002. That's a total of 52,654 pages!

Hi. I am new to this group. I read 102 books in 2009.

I got busy the last two months of the year and did very little reading, but still managed a respectable 124. I will try to better that this year, but who knows...
I don't have an exact count, but it was well over 100. Probably closer to 150.
I took to creating year folders, and once I completed a book, I also added it to the 2009 folder. Made it quite easy to keep track of them all.

I'm a little unsure how many I really read because I started reading a lot of m/m e-books, which tend to be a lot shorter than a regular paperback (some are only 60 pages, and I think a handful may have only been 20-30). But for what it's worth, my year end total is:Physical books: 78
E-books: 120
Audiobooks: 6
Total: 204
I read 425 this year but don't expect to read quite as many in 2010. I plan to get a life. LOL

I'm new to the group as well. I see some familiar "faces" here. :) I read ~ 150 in 2009, which really surprised me. My daily reads picked up towards the end of the year, actually after joining GR. Challenges (which I love) have a tendency to increase my reading. :) I have found a lot of great new authors that way too.

The challenges also forced me to read new authors as well as genres I had not previously had any interest in reading.
Me2. I am a PN & UF fanatic and keep telling myself I should venture outside my "comfort" zone, but I have too many books remaining in those genres left to read. I throw in some horror (my 1st love) and mystery/thriller/suspense here and there. But, I have found some great new authors/series b/c of GR friends/groups. So ... TBR list just keeps'a growin'! LOL
Maybe I should have said categories in the UF PNR genre. For instance I was totally stuck on vampires, then someone suggested a fae series, then werewolves...u get my drift. I have read a few historical romance & erotic, both of which r new categories for me--both recommended by GR friends.
Hey there are some awesome amounts posted here.I got to 85 in 2009 and my 2010 goal is 100. Lets see how that goes... baby steps lol

I read 179 books in 2009. I hope to get to 200 this year. I hope everyone is having a good new year so far.

You inspired me to organize my shelves, so the count is 173. Which is a lie, because I did some re-reads, too...perhaps 185ish? I felt proud of myself until I saw Barbsis' number! Why you gotta put us all to shame like that, huh?

Holy Moly Barbsis!! I am definitely in awe of you. I am really hoping to just exceed my total from '09. I can't imagine reaching past 200 let alone 425! My kids and husband would HATE me! lol
I didn't start keeping track until the end of March, but from March to December I read 85 books
I read 100 books last year and this year my target is 144. I have had a slow start though..hopefully will make it up soon :) Goodluck guys in meeting those targets!
I read 96 books last year and my target is also 144 books for 2010. I'd love to be able to read more but I just don't have the time. :)
I didn't keep count for 2009, and hadn't really thought about it till now. But for 2010, I'll go with 115. Will hope for more.
