My recordings of my dreams and sleep patterns. Should be interesting, my dreams are getting crazier each day. Plus I have this screwy sleep disorder so half the time and can't slip into a doze until, like, midnight. There is going to be a lot of milk in this log: be warned.

Day 1. 12-30-09/12-31-09. I went to bed really late last night, 10:00. Still couldn't sleep - I needed to look up a word in the dictionary so I could continue writing my story. At 11:00 I went down to et a glass of milk which would 1) help me sleep, or 2) enable me to get the dictionary without anyone knowing. But my parents were still down there, so I just gave up and decided to ad-lib for that part of my story based on the scrappy information I already had. I spent an hour writing my story, then realized it was 12:00 and went to bed.
Lately I have been sleeping on my back instead of my belly like I usually do, so I just threw all my pillows into a corner of my bed and curled up with my stuffed kitty. :3 (My stuffed kitty's name is Scout, but it's a girl. She's black and white with green eyes, for what it's worth.)
I finally fell asleep at what I assume was approximately 12:20.
Dreams? Ah... nope... none. Not that I can remember, anyway. I slept soundly through the whole night and woke up at 8:00 in the morning.
10:00 is REALLY late for me. My schoolday bedtime is 8:15. I'm not kidding. My weekend/day off bedtime is 9:00, so I'm allowed to stay up longer than normal, but still.
I'm 11 and I sleep at 3-4 every night.
Meep-chan wrote: "I'm only twelve. Are you older than me? (Not a creeper question)"I'm almost 12. XD
I'm 13, I go to sleep anywhere from 12:30 to 5 AM. I'm almost lethargic during the day, then at 8 I suddenly get energy xD It's strange.
Day 2. 12-31-09/1-1-10.Sooo... obviously I fell asleep at twelve because it was New Year's. My parents let us stay up till 11:15 but then made us go to sleep, so I just went to my bedroom, turned on my booklight, and read until midnight. There were fireworks going on then, and I was just thinking about how amazing and weird and funny and inspirational it was that people were setting off fireworks at 12:00. So I just sat there with the light on for about five minutes, telling myself over that it was the first day of an exact decade, and also telling my blanket, and also telling Scout. I am a dork, yes. (By the way: the fact that my stuffed kitten's name is Scout is a COINCIDENCE, people. I've had her for half a year now, way before I got a Goodreads, so...) I fell asleep literally when my head hit the pillow.
My dream was weird, or what I could remember of it. There was this school that I wanted to go to instead of the crappy one I go to now, so basically, I walked in the door in the middle of the day and started school there. They had this huge cafeteria in the front, right in front of the door, with about twelve different vending machines. As soon as I walked in I noticed that I wasn't wearing anything except a gray shirt, so I just stretched it over me and waddled around looking for more clothes. This jerk kid who transferred this year was there also (even though I know he hadn't transferred to this school), but we were acting all friendly and things and nobody really seemed to notice that I was only wearing a shirt. We went to the staircase. There were a lot of levels in the school, so we went up one. On the next level was a store! I just stole some pants and was wandering around the toothpaste section when the dream ended. Weird, huh?
Day 3. 1-1-10/1-2-10. I went to bed at 9:30, but I was listening to my iPod and didn't actually go to SLEEP until 10:00, when I decided that rock music was too loud and annoying at this time of night. I promptly unplugged myself from the earbuds, paused iPod, dropped it next to the bed, and lay back with Scout and my teeny fleece blanket. I don't know when I fell asleep, but shortly before I did, I noticed that my throat started feeling sore. For what it's worth, I feel a lot sicker today: nauseous, sore throat still, lightheadedness, and this weird sensitivity that makes the slightest touch uncomfortable to my skin. This happens to me when I'm sick.
I couldn't remember my dreams...

I CONTROLLED MY DREAMS! I REALLY DID! I wrote the word "REMEMBER" on my hand and every time I moved my hand I saw it, so it got burned into my brain. Some time in my dream I looked at my hand and the sensible part of my brain said, hey, there's no mark. Then I controlled my dream, because I knew I was asleep! I could jump out of windows and fly around. It was amazing! I AM NOT LYING!(This happened on Tuesday)

But the statistics show that I'm like four grades smarter than my age, so no worries. :P I'm not lying, it's been proven.
you can do that actually! They have some machine that when you are in REM sleep in shines a light so that you know your dreaming then you can control it! I have wanted to try it, but i enjoy watching what happens.

Lucid dreaming is amazing. Try what I did. It worked in one day. (Commercial man) My ultimate dream has always been to fly. I always tell myself, "This is not possible." But here's the thing: nothing's impossible in dreams. And what's really the difference between a dream and reality? Okay, a dream is not real, but it's really close, and if you think about it, the line is blurred. As long as you remember it, it happened, is what I think. I flew on Tuesday night. My wings were huge and pure white with little freckles of gray. The caught air and let me float and soar and speed through the air like a bullet. It's amazing: you feel the wind in your face, and your hair blowing back, and you feel your wings pumping form your shoulder blades. It's so real. Sometimes I wonder, are we really asleep when we think we are awake? Is the real world around us when we are sleeping? Is it? There's no proof either way. You can't break the laws of physics, but when you're asleep you can. When you're asleep you can tell your crush that yo like them and not be embarrassed, and you can be a ninja master, or have wings, or just... be where you want to be.I keep mentioning love because I'm listening to my iTunes and the songs are about love, which is why it's on my mind.
The Alice in Wonderland idea. If my dreams were real, then I'd be stealing makeup from a certain male musician whenever mine ran out, heheh. Actually, that'd be amazing. Sorry, that was really random -.- AHH! SO JEALOUS! Flying is my greatest dream, too. I've never dreamed of flight, though, sadly.
It's just amazing... hard to describe... some of my friends don't believe me but I swear to God it was so real.
