No Peep. Double Dare was a game show that came on a little while later, but they were both Nickelodeon shows. You Can't Do That on TV had a very young Alanis Morissette. It was a skit show, and whenever the kids said "I Don't Know", they were hit with green slime. It is from the mid 80's. Classic!
:Waves: Points for me? I watched You Can't Do That On Television, although it was far from a fav, the green slime thing is what I remember best about it.
ok, I've been a part of this group for awhile, but haven't properly introduced myself. I'm Lani, 30 year old single mother of one very handsome 7 year old boy who loves the Wimpy kid series. I started reading as a way to be a good example for him and became obsessed. I started with the Twilight series and have yet to really branch out of YA.
Heidi, love your avatar! I used to have his posters all over my room when I was a kid!! I wonder what Shaun looks like today cause I know Keith is still lookin good!! Welcome to the newbies!!
Susan - Shauna didn't fair so well!
I don't think he looks horrible but he doesn't look good.
Heidi, bad girl! That picture brings back such memories!!!BTW, how do you add a picture like that? I'm tired of a blank pic for me..
Bluemoon - Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, OK, prepared, very prepared. Ah hell, now I have to see what I have on my puter!
Yea Heather! I am going to delete my crazy long comment above about pictures, sine you figured it out :)
That was Elvis, my favorite and familiar. He was a great guy and I have him permanently on my left inner forearm.
Thank you! I realized that you can barely see him but that was one of the best pictures I have of him. It's funny though every Friday the 13th they talk about black cats and bad luck. Well, I never had a problem with luck where he was concerned..
haha.. You Can't Do That On Television... grew up on that! Been derailed a bit helping the folks move this weekend but gonna be back on Catching Fire tonight!
Heather, with those eyes, I think Elvis's Lolcatz text would be something like: "I see dead people."Can anyone come up with anything better? Maybe we should have a contest!
Hmm, nah, it was more of, "OMG, you have hands! Oh, oh you must pad my belly!!!""" Plus, "Do you have an asparagus???"...
Heather my black cat loves spinach leaves, must be something about those black cats getting their greens. p.s. in honor of Elvis, I made my profile a pic of my big fat cat Milo destroying the Christmas tree.
Elvis would go insane when I would cook the asparagus! He would just start crying in the door way demanding some! Of course I would give him some and the vets just couldn't believe he loved it!
I'm Rebecca. I love to read and write YA - especially YA romance. I just finished reading Shiver and loved it. Looking forward to hearing what others are reading.
Welcome Rebecca! Glad you liked Shiver, have you read Maggie Stiefvater's other books? Also, there are a lot of YA romance books out there so I hope you get some good recommendations.
Changed my avatar to a pic of my dogs in their little bike trailer after our ride tonight. It was their first bike ride in the trailer. Our schnauzer loved it but our little girl wasn't too sure about it. I think she liked her basket better. :)
Bluemoon - Can't wait to see your dog! I love pics!
Chachic - Thanks!

Hello everyone, my name is Lori and my friend Becky told me about this group. I can see I have lots to read on here to see what everone is reading. I will read almost anything but Vampires have always fascinated me. in the past couple years I have really gotten into reading again and enjoyed reading series books. Vampire Academy, House of Night, Blue Bloods, Hunger Games, The pretties, just to name a few. I am excited to see what I have been missing out on. I am going to have to start by checking out the Darkest Power Trilogy I think, lol
