And Mallary.... at first I was thinking Death Valley, but I think that'd be too obvious... But I think here would be a good place.

In fact, maybe Rikan could be in the same general area - because there IS a park right there.

I say we stick to the States, or one continent, to make the story flow a little more easily, but that's just me... We could have Zhen brought in to our School at the beginning of the story, or whenever we wanted her brought in. Or whatever. And... My whitecoat and hound(or w/e we're calling them), Nat and Shawn (I think... forget and need to read my characters again ><) are going to start at the School, or maybe the hound-thing'll be on a flock-thing recovery mission. :P I don't really know...

Well, if you want Zhen to be in China, I think we can work that out - because most of our characters are in different locations anyways, right? So I say - as long as we have different locations IN the states, we should be able to have a (few) character(s) OUTSIDE the States...

But it all depends if we WANT to spread it out or not. But try to keep it in countries you are familiar with. If you don't know anything about the country you want to put your character in, look up different traditions, etc., on the internet. For instance, for China, you could find out more about their New Years' celebration, or even something small, like some specialty dishes they serve. The key is to make the reader at least think you know what your talking about, and that even our Chinese readers won't think anything's wrong.

I don't mind having a three-wolf pack. Most packs are larger than that anyway. They could roam the far-north states, since I KNOW MI gets cold up in the UP, and maybe some of Canada while they're at it.
