Hello, everyone! I manage a small poetry magazine, Wisdom Crieth Without. Every two months we release an issue of illustrated poetry. It's small --generally four or five poems-- but the magazine features quality work from international poets unknown and renowned, and each poem is is illustrated with a custom piece of art.I realize this isn't quite a promotion of my own original content, but I think it may prove of interest to some of you fine readers here! It's free to read online at http://www.wisdomcriethwithout.com/la....
My first collection, Convoy, is about to be published by Cinnamon Press . It's a sequence of poems based on my grandfather's experience serving on the Malta convoys in the Second World War. There will be a couple of copies available as a GR giveaway shortly. Convoy
My book of poetry, Fugitive Pigments, has just been published by FutureCycle Press. I’ve been publishing poems for almost 20 years now, but this is my first book. I’m really excited about it. It combines my two worlds, poetry and the visual arts. Actually, I was a visual artist long before I started writing poetry, so it was natural that I’d write about art. That’s what’s mostly in this book, along with some poems that resonate with the art poems. Fugitive pigments are those colors that change over time. Art and life, intertwined.I hope you take a look at it. The cover art is one of my paintings.

Late to the party, but just wanted to congratulate you, Ruth. Great concept! I've put it on my amazon wish list.

On October 9, the one-year anniversary of the shooting of Malala Yousafzai by the Taliban for speaking out for education for girls in her region (Pakistan), FutureCycle Press will publish its first Good Works anthology, MALALA: POEMS FOR MALALA YOUSAFZAI. This anthology will also be our Goodreads Giveaway title that month. All proceeds from the sale of the paperback and Kindle editions will be donated to the Malala Fund (www.malalafund.org).You may have heard Malala speak to the U.N. on her birthday in July, designated by the U.N. as "Malala Day." You may also know that Malala has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Edited by Joseph Hutchison and Andrea L. Watson, this anthology reflects the powerful outpouring of support for Malala (from men and women) and a sublime sensitivity to the strengths and suppression of women.
We will send out advanced-reader-copy PDFs beginning September 1, and I would be happy to email a copy to anyone who is interested in reviewing it on Goodreads, Amazon, their blog, or in a magazine on or after October 9.
Email me at dkistner@futurecycle.org, please, with MALALA ARC in the subject line, and I'll send you a copy. I'd appreciate your sending us a link to the review, if not on Goodreads/Amazon.
By the way, these are NOT to be disseminated because we do not want to spoil the big anniversary launch of the book; however, once the paperback is published, we will also be putting up a free PDF file that anyone can download and share. That download will be linked from this page: http://goo.gl/di6EZ

Thank you so much :D
My first book came out 2 years ago, but I've never flogged it in this group before, and I just discovered this thread, so here goes.
My book's title is Six Rivers , and it was published by New York Quarterly Books. There are some nice reviews of it already up on Goodreads, and other reviews can be found at these outside sites: here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here.
More info about the book can also be found in these interviews that I've done: here, here, here, here, and here.
If you've read it, do please post on Goodreads, as I'd love to hear what more people think.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. I have a book accepted by WordTech Editions, "Made and Remade" and I need to find people to write blurbs for the cover. I have a word.docx draft. It has 57 poems, six section headers, and a short introduction (66 pages in 8 1/2 x 11 draft). The problem is they are very strict about the format and won't let you list anything but your name about yourself.
Is anyone interested?
For my chapbooks and some sample poems, see http://www.freethoughtandmetaphor.com
YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtl3x... Much of my poetry rhymes, but sometimes you have to hear spoken word to truly experience it. The poetry I have written reflects the changes I had to make, to make it into womanhood alive. Feel me, Join me, Hear Me Roar

So glad to join the group. My 4th poetry collection is now available for $5.00. I like to share my poetry at open-mic events, schools, and senior centers. My latest collection, "What's Left Behind," is about my father who cared for my mother throughout her illness. Visit my website to read book reviews, sample poems, book cover. I'm a book publisher and magazine editor reading over one-thousand poems annually and also write book reviews for new collections, especially chapbooks. I self-published my poetry book. It is a sort of story based book of my journey through darkness into light. It is filled with poetry from my darkest days, tragic love, and my passage into light and finding true love. With my book I hope to reach people who have been or are going through darkness. I hope to inspire with my story, or touch those who enjoy poetry.
I am doing a giveaway on my book that ends October 30th, 2013.
From Dirt to Gold: A Journey Through Darkness to Light
I have two poetry books published by Lapwing Publications. The first, a full collection, Cats and Other Myths was published in 2011 and the second, a poetry pamphlet, Songs of Steelyard Sue was published in 2012
I've been absent from the group because of preoccupation with the demands of a modern poetry mooc and am impressed with the number of books that have been added here in the meantime. Congrats to all and special congrats to Ellen!

Moon Tide Press, one of Southern California’s premiere poetry publishers, is proud to announce the release of Ruth Bavetta’s Embers on the Stairs. The second full-length book by its author, this collection takes readers on a spiritual and geographical tour of California with poems about brushfires, the beach, childhood in Los Angeles and unexpected feelings of home (“I’m tired of hearing about weathered barns / and cows and icy Vermont winters … Let me see Latinos in white straw hats selling oranges / at the freeway offramps while ghost coyotes nip / at the tasseled edges of the city”).

Ellen, enjoyed your sample poems fromMade and Remade. Where do you like to publish your work before it goes into a book? Someone told me about a new journal of poetry about science called Slippage....
Thanks, Jan. I'll look for Slippage. I'm pretty scattershot about where I send my poems. The few in Made and Remade that were previously published were in Slant, Common Ground, the Kerf, online at Untitled Country and Lantern Journal, a few others.
Poetry surrounding love and heartbreak from vault of a girl's crush soul. The Cracked Heart's Club Vol. 1I appreciate all critique.

At Jen's suggestion, I am adding the following post -This post is not really about a specific poetry book, but there isn't a section for recordings.
Basically there is a recording of me reading "The Moon Rises Crying", a poem from my 2011 poetry collection Cats and Other Myths over on the e-zine Liquid Imagination. Should anyone be interested in hearing me read, you can find it here:http://liquidimagination.silverpen.or...
