Tori, we all need to throw in some "tacky fluff!!!" LOL. Too much serious reading can really drag a person down. I'm hoping to read the Twilight searies this year as well as some sookie stackhouse and ofcourse a couple James Patterson books that I haven't read yet.

Connie-
Good luck with your reading, Connie. I agree that serious reading can get one down. This past year I read Anne Frank, Night, The Bell Jar, and a lot of Vonnegut. I threw some fluff in there, but still...
:)
I'm totally on the Sookie train for the first month of 2010!
Good luck reading this year and have fun! I just finished the first Sookie Stackhouse book this morning! I cant wait to read more! 2009 i read mostly Young Adult books (I'm 16) and this year Im going to try to get a little more into adult books and some classics I've been wanting to read.

Book #1- Club Dead - Charlaine Harris
Book #1- Club Dead - Charlaine HarrisYeah...nothing to do on New Years Day but take care of a sick husband and read. Oh Sookie!
I think I'm going to try for the opposite of what you are this year, I'm going to try and read some not-so-fluffy books this year. I read a lot in the romance/fluff category in 2009.

 #9 - A Touch of Dead - Harris
#9 - A Touch of Dead - Harris There was nothing to this book and the writing was a bit off compared to her other work. It's basically 5 short stories that are combined in one book. I read it in an hour and a half.
LOL. I don't think I'll be done until mid-year. Those Sookie Stackhouse books are very easy reads though. :) I also don't watch much tv.

     #10 - Hungry Girl - Lillien
#10 - Hungry Girl - LillienWeird. I felt like reading this book which is kind of a cookbook and find that I am reading it word for word. (As opposed to just reading recipes I'm interested in.) I'm kind of interested in the whole topic. I've read a few other cookbooks word for word. Does anyone else do that or is it totally weird of me?
