No, this week is going to suck! I'm hoping to find the energy to read for a bit tonight, and then am doubting I'll read at all until next Monday. I will be listening to my audio book, so at least I won't be at a standstill. :)
If there's anything I can do to help you, let me know! I won't be reading much this week either. If the 13 hour Sunday was any indication, I doubt I'll leave work before 11:30 any night this week. I'll get to read after Thursday night though! We convinced John to officially close the office on Friday. I still will go in for a few minutes, but I can wear jeans and not stay too long!
Sounds good to me! Just let me know what fits into your schedule. I need to do some yard work, but other than that, I have no plans.
I just finished Voyager! I enjoyed it... I gave it five stars, though it likely really only deserved four... I'll have to ponder it more!
I'm going to work hard on The Princess Bride, and probably read The Red Pyramid next... That should be a nice break from the long books that I've been reading. :)

Well, I previously ordered Ender's Game, and since the second and third books showed up as my special deals of the day at amazon, I ordered Speaker for the Dead and Xenocide!
You can't get these guys in ebooks... :(

I just finished The Girl Who Played with Fire, and can't wait to start The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest.... All alone at work today, and I was able to listen to about 1.5 hours of the audio book while working! :) YAY!
Are you at all interested in reading The Commoner or The Handmaid's Tale? If you don't want to read them, I'd put them on the bookswap since I didn't like either one enough to read it again. If you want to read them, though, I'd keep them for you.
I wouldn't mind reading The Handmaid's Tale! The Commoner looks okay, but I probably wouldn't get around to that one for awhile.... so just the Handmaid for me please! :) Thanks!
I just finished The Red Pyramid... not a bad book. I learned a LOT about Egyptian mythology. However, I think I enjoyed the Percy Jackson series much more. Ohhh I have no idea what to read next!!!
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest
I'm bummed that the trilogy is over! I've been living this series for the last eight weeks or so. I do hope that the manuscript for the fourth book gets published. It was found on Stieg Larsson's computer after he died... Sure, it might not be the same since it wouldn't be completely his, but I WANT MORE! :)

I'm at 34 and will probably finish The Last Olympian tonight. I'm not sure what I'll read next, but I'm sure it's not going to be as quick as the Percy Jackson books...
34! I started Reading The Hunger Games yesterday, and just finished it. :) I have no idea what to read next...

Haha thanks Coco! When you're done with the Phantom you're currently reading, you should also read Phantom. I have it, and will make Sonja read it, then she can make you read it! :)

I wondered if that might be the case, as I thought Sonja was reading Phantom, but you never know! :) Bad Sonja for not paying attention!!!
I'm sorry!!!!! I just opened Goodreads with the link in my e-mail and didn't think about the fact that Nicole was probably signed in on this computer. Oops...I'll try to pay better attention in the future...
You caught me! 3 books already in July? It's only been 8 days... Hopefully I'll finish Phantom tonight...
Yes, 3 books in July! Do realize that I started both 1,000 Blossoms and Jonathan Strange in June. 1,000 Blossoms isn't a tiny book, but it is a quick read. The same holds true for The Hunger Games. Plus, The Hunger Games was read over the weekend, and the kids had friends over both days, so entertaining was pretty easy - they played outside in the pool, and I read outside! :)
Don't worry - if I have to place bets, I'm still thinking you'll win. I'm reading The Fiery Cross right now - and it's a 1,300 page chunker to get through in order to be able to read the rest of Outlander. It's interesting, but it's a slow read. (Everyone keeps telling me that it's the weakest book in the series...) I'll probably end up interrupting this book with a few others...

Sooo the North Liberty library got in an audio book that I had on hold... Argh! I guess I'm going to "read" Horns, and then read The Yiddish Policemen's Union after Horns....
Lol...they both sound good! You'll get to both of them. I may have to get The Yiddish Policeman's Union...
Would you like Yiddish for ebook or audio? I supposedly have the ebook, and the audio is being created over the next few days...
I was 20 minutes into Yiddish, and I will go back and listen to it. It's just that the librarian at NLPL LOVES Horns, so I told her I'd stop Yiddish and listen to Horns first... I'm now about 20 minutes into Horns, and I like it!

If you have the ebook it would be awesome if I could steal it. I don't listen to many audio books and don't have any big road trips planned...
It looks like I'll be taking a break from The Fiery Cross this weekend as the ICPL has Catching Fire on hold for me! YAY! (Yay that it's on hold for me, not yay from the break from Outlander...)
Actually, I'm enjoying Fiery Cross so far. It's moving slowly, I'm about 150ish pages in, and only a few hours have passed - maybe that's the problem? Time passes so slowly that it's too much detail and not enough action?

Yeap, it is! :) The third books comes out later this year, and I'm currently 67th on the hold list at the ICPL... wow, that'll take a bit to get to me!
I think that there are 12 copies on order... I think!
Hey - I've also got the UK movie version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo on hold too... Should be here in a couple of weeks... if you have reading time, you should read it and then we could watch it together! (No big deal if you're not interested.)
