I didn't realize I wrote that much!
I wrote last night, and the day before, but I'm too lazy to go get my flash drive and add it all up. I'll probably do it later.
Hi Annie, keep up the good work. I'm unfortunately On a go slow, but I'm going to up the gain this week, fingers crossed. :)

I'm on a roll, and totally worded out!
Want to know what sucks? When your mom tells you that because you didn't get a teacher's e-mail, and figure out what was going on in a certain class, happened, because I was WRITING.
It's partly right, and partly not right. Gosh, I wish my parents could understand, me and my writing decisions.
It's working out . . . slowly. Ha ha, but I've got to update for last night's word count. Finally, I'm over an intense writers block.
Writing Word Count: 1,062 wordsEditing Page Count: 5 pages
Total Word Count: 13,538 words
Total Edited Page Count: 59 pages
Total Rewriting Count: 5 pages, 1,820 words

Total Word Count: 16,141 words
Total Edited Page Count: 86 pages
Total Rewriting Count: 3 pages, 4,401 words
Today! And counting . . . at least for the edited page count.
*update*: I love rewriting. Especially for this certain story. I swear there's at least 15 different versions of it, since I first wrote it. I mean, it's only taken me 3 years to edit, and one year to write it. So for a total of 4 years, I have been working on one novel. Wow, I must have no life whatsoever.
ha ha. I only like it this time around, because I gave the entire story a good time to think about what it wanted inside of it. Which means deleting and rewriting things constantly.
I've added two more poems to my compilation. (personally, I think "The Star's Many Lies" is the best out of the three.)http://www.goodreads.com/story/show/5...

Total Word Count: 16,141 words
Total Edited Page Count: 86 pages
Total Rewriting Count: 12 pages, 5,500 words
I have now entered a world of chaos. I hate rewriting now, I have to change so stinking much of my story, it's going to practically change the end, and I'm not happy about it.
Writing Word Count: 746 wordsEditing Page Count: 3 pages
Total Word Count: 16,887 words
Total Edited Page Count: 89 pages
Total Rewriting Count: 14 pages, 6,246 words
When I wrote my first novel, I had a very specific scene for the ending. It took me some time to accept that for the story to work, I couldn't use that scene. But I could still use the atmosphere and stuff from that particular scene, so it wasn't lost anyway.
Ah :)I can't focus on one and the same story for that long :P I want to write a sci-fi triology but I just can't convince myself to write as long as I need to, to pull that off.
*tears hair out* Does too much editing and rewriting cause someone to catch a cold?
Can both cause intense brain damage?
Did Shakespeare ever rewrite his famous Romeo and Juliet? How many times?
Does good ever come out of so much stress?
Can writers block be cured with a nice, hot shower?
Is there a reason why any author that had to go through all of these processes didn't give up completely, and just do away with their work?
These are all very important questions to ask. I myself just might go insane for editing one piece of work too much.
Yes, for the intense brain damage, and hot shower cures almost everything. And a big hug for you. Editing is harsh, but necessary. Most of the stories turns out so much better it's even worth it, when you look at it some years later ;)
when you like rewrite something i think its easier to edit because you automatically find yourself thinking 'well this adn that would sound better..." you know?keep at it!! your doing great! :)
There's also a point in editing/rewriting when you have to step back and say "I'm done" even though you just know you can tinker some more with it. Not every word needs to be perfect.Sometimes, no matter how horrible, you also need to step back and say "No, I can't fix this." I had to do that with my second manuscript. Finished novel on 90 000 words but it simply doesn't work and I can't make it work either :/
The problem is, I have to MAKE it work with this story. It's a little messed up from chapter 16 until the end. I've got to do a lot of work on it. Oh well, my life won't end today! Especiallyif Liz has some cheesecake!
So - as I'd love to help someone else overcome the Story Devil - what's the problem and can I help with solving it?
I'm not sure . . . mostly because of the story line, you'd have to know it from beginning to end in order to do so. I just need a break is all, and I'll be back up and running in no time!
I'm in the hole 1,200 words. *sigh* I'll make it up soon! This is for YESTERDAY!
Writing Word Count: at least 200 words
Editing Page Count: 12 pages
Total Word Count: 17,087 words
Total Edited Page Count: 101 pages
Total Rewriting Count: 14 pages, 6,246 words
I think . . . that the rewriting count iw right . . . I wonder, if I added it for chapter fifteen?? Nope, nevermind, I'm caught up!
Well, yesterday, I finally got over my editing writers block and procrastinating stage . . . so with a little In-n-out burger, everything's good! :D ha ha.
