^^ In regards to your title name... don't we all?

message 54: by Callie (new)

Callie (neverlandcallie) yeah, but sadly, this one features Miley Cyrus and Timbaland.

Brigid ✩ | 814 comments oh dear

message 56: by Callie (new)

Callie (neverlandcallie) I know . . . it's driving me insane, but I actually like this one. The only song of hers I like!

message 57: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ | 814 comments lol really? interesting XD

message 58: by Callie (new)

Callie (neverlandcallie) It's by Timbaland, but she sings the whole time. . . ha ha.

message 59: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ | 814 comments ah. all timbaland songs are like that … lol XD

message 60: by Callie (new)

Callie (neverlandcallie) I never really listen to Timbaland (except for Apologize), so I guess I couldn't exactly tell.

message 61: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ | 814 comments i'm not really into any of "his" songs, but basically what he does is produces the song, makes someone else sing most or all of it, and then gives himself the credit. lol. XD

message 62: by Callie (new)

Callie (neverlandcallie) yeah, honestly, he's probably smart that way. :D

message 63: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ | 814 comments lol yeah XD

message 64: by Callie (new)

Callie (neverlandcallie) The thought just occurred to me, wouldn't it be cool if Goodreads were virtual?

EEEEEEWWW. Although *shameful* I do kinda sorta like... *blush* Party in the USA. But other than that, I hate her. HATE HER!

I refuse to admit that he is the artist for Apologize. Haha...I had a goal to not listen to Party in the USA, and it was all going fine until they played it in a store I was in. :(

Good goalz Annie!<3

message 68: by Alicen (new)

Alicen (alicenl) I like that you have your goals set up so that you strive to meet Goal #1, but at least if that doesn't happen you have Goal #2 to fall back on...just the right amount of pressure.

Callie (neverlandcallie) My little brother's going to make me play Life so I guess I better post my hard work for the day. I doubt I'll be able to get back on the computer after the game's over.

YAY!

My dad fixed the piano today! It's been 4 months since I've played a single song! Now I'm really horrible at it!

Nice job! :]

Callie (neverlandcallie) Thanks :D

idk either to be honest!

Amy (runawaymarbles) | 400 comments I just edited Soul Stealer for Brigid. Someone's read Romeo and Juliet a few too many times. :D

message 82: by Callie (new)

Callie (neverlandcallie) ha ha wonderful

message 83: by Brigid ✩ (last edited Jan 02, 2010 06:15PM) (new)

Brigid ✩ | 814 comments For your information, I've only read Romeo and Juliet once. XD We just happened to be reading and analyzing it at length in English class when I was writing Soul Stealer … It just ended up leaking into the story. I didn't intend for it to be this whole big Romeo and Juliet retelling until like halfway through. O_o lol

:D I think Brigid if you look hard enough you find a lot of Romeo and Juliet remakes in many different books and movies. It's funny. :D

Amy (runawaymarbles) | 400 comments But Brigid's is Romeo and Juliet to the letter.

Nice job! :D

Yeah, a lot of books/movies are Romeo and Juliet retellings. :P

message 87: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ | 814 comments Marisol wrote: "But Brigid's is Romeo and Juliet to the letter. "

Ahhh … Not really. There were like two Romeo and Juliet references in it and the ending was based on Romeo and Juliet, but the rest of it was different. XD

message 88: by Amy (new)

Amy (runawaymarbles) | 400 comments True. I guess it was the 5-day thing and the ending and the faking-death thing... yeah. Close enough. In a break from tradition, maybe you could make it five weeks ?

message 89: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ | 814 comments Romeo and Juliet takes place in four days, actually. XD

message 90: by Amy (new)

Amy (runawaymarbles) | 400 comments Okay. Maybe you should make it four weeks? *winning smile* it would just add to the realisticism, you know?

message 91: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ | 814 comments Maybe … ? I'm not sure how I could stretch it out for that long. lol. I could try.

message 92: by Amy (new)

Amy (runawaymarbles) | 400 comments Well, you know. You don't need to describe each day. It doesn't have to be that long, it would just be nice for it to be less abrupt, ya know?

message 93: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ | 814 comments Yeah, I know what you mean. I sort of meant for it to be that way since it did become a parallel to Romeo and Juliet … but if it just doesn't work I guess I could fix it.

message 94: by Amy (new)

Amy (runawaymarbles) | 400 comments No. *bangs self on head.* Shut up, Marisol.

It does work. You just need smoother emotional transitions is all.

message 95: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ | 814 comments lol, ok. Yeah. The emotional stuff needs work. XD

message 96: by Amy (new)

Amy (runawaymarbles) | 400 comments I mean, your emotions are good. They are. They just need to be more gradual. Make it a ramp instead of stairs.
