An intriguing thinker

I am fascinated by Edouard Glissant's thinking. Not only his Poetics of Relation which talks of a possible world where cultures would benefit each other without loosing their own identity, but also the writing is both written by the left and right brain and to be read with both sides too! Would love to hear what others have to say, especially those who did not like the book that much (three stars and under!) Read also the very interesting text about French rule in India and the Indian diaspora to the Caribbeans. It's short! And it's on the bilingual blog bilingue de la curiosité on blogspot. And come and tell me what you think. And how we can persuade Barack Obama to read carefully "La beauté intraitable du monde", a text written by Glissant and Chamoiseau to his attention!
