I dont know who shall play Jace but I'm sure Johnny Depp could pull off Magnus's character.
alex pettyfer...him i can see him being jace...but his face.I don't no...it just doesnt remind me of Jace.here is the new series:

Hmmm....I'd actually rather have new actors to play the characters. When they use people who have already been known for a different role, it makes it very hard to see them as Clary or Jace and so on. If they can find undescovered actors/actresses who can pull off the characters, then I would be happier than if an established actor did the same roll...If that makes any sense :P
Plus, I would HATE it if Meagan Fox was in the movie. She cant act! I watched her in Jennifer's Body ((Which was filmed in my school btw)) and she was terribble. It would be a complete bummer if they picker her for any part.

But it was SO not worth it.
I was reading the other night, and my man had the TV on X-Men 3... I happened to look up and see something that instantly reminded me of Jace. Ben Foster playing Warren Worthington III, the angel mutant. Beautiful beautiful boy, the angel wings were perfect, I know that Jace doesn't normally portray wings except in one of Clary's dreams, however it reminded me of Jace,and he has my vote. Not very well known, has played in some things. Has enough of a rough edge around him, that he could handle the history of Jace quite well. Check it out...
I think he looks a little too old to play Jace, but that's just me.

It just kind of one of those things that bugs me. I don't like it when they use older people to play characters normally. But other than that he's not a bad choice.

totally agree. emma roberts would be the worst clary ever. but Molly Quin could pull it of but i think that Alexz Johnson could play Clary. but thats just my opinion.

Alexz is like 23. she was born in 1986. Molly was born in 1993. Molly would look way closer to Clary age-wise.

actually theres this girl in my school whose practicaly Clary except for the green eyes (she should get contacts)
thats cool. and jazmyn molly really does look more like clary but clary in my opinion should be played by an actress that has a LOT of experience in her acting career like wise alexz. but that is just my opinion.
