I wonder if anyone can help me?I'm looking for a book by DK, my best friend was reading it and LOVED it - this was in the mid 90's that he was reading it and it featured two gay male characters. I have always tried to remember what the book was as I would love to read it....My best friend passed away in 2001.
The only other detail i remember is it has a picture of a house on it.
This is a long shot, I know :)

This vaguely brings to mind a story of a well-established doctor or lawyer in one of Koontz's works. These two characters were not main characters in the novel but played a significant role. I'll have to give it some more thought. Maybe in the meantime, someone else will give you the answer :-)

You are still welcome to join the discussions for The Key to Midnight or Demon Seed which are our November Group Reads.

It was very nice and surprising for Koontzland to be mentioned on the official Dean Koontz Facebook page :-)
We gained 200+ members in one day. We now have over 1,000 members which means we only need 4,000 more to catch up to the Stephen King Fans group :-)

Hi all! I'm Sarah and I've been a Koontz fan since I was 12 years old, when I found Watchers on my dad's bookshelf and read it for the first time. It was the beginning of my obsession! :) I'm happy to be a part of this group - thanks to Dean Koontz's Facebook page for sending me here!
Hi - I am Melissa from SW Michigan. I have been reading Dean Koontz since he was first published. I am a voracious reader, so it's saying a lot when I claim "Watchers" as my all-time favorite book on the planet. It started my love affair with Golden Retrievers, too. For my 50th birthday, my brother got me a signed first addition of that book, and other than my dog, it is my most prized possession! :)
Hi everyone. I'm Lori. I've been a Dean Koontz fan ever since I read Watchers in 1990. Since then, I've purchased every book he's come out with (except the Frankenstein series). I loved, loved, LOVED Watchers and couldn't put it down. A friend from work was reading it and I asked her if it was good. She raved about it and even though I'd seen the really bad movie of the same name, gave it a try. I was hooked! On both Dean Koontz and golden retrievers. I've read it several times since that first reading and it's still my all-time favorite. Can't wait for Innocence though and Saint Odd. That one can't come out soon enough.
Reading all these posts I'm gonna have to read Watchers again now as it was a long time ago I first read it.

FYI: we do have a Mini-Group Read Program. If 3 group members or more can agree on reading the same title and agree on a start date, we'll feature that title as a group read for one month. Simply post in the Mini-Group Read thread and see if you can find others to read with you :

Hello, everyone! My name is John and I live in a small town just outside of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I'm new to Koontzland but am a longtime Koontz fan and DK Fancorps Member. I have read everything by DK that I can get my hands on. There are a few reare stragglers that I'm still looking for, but I will find them in time.
I am the proud owner of four Deak Koontz sutographs (two Charnel House numbered, limited edition books [Life Expectancy and The Husband], a signed advance copy of Innocence, and a signed personal letter). I cherish each one!
Greetings! I'm Kayla, a Mormon born and raised in Utah. I've been reading Koontz since I was ten, but have only been a serious Koontz fan since I read Fear Nothing in tenth grade. I've read most of his books, now. The only one I haven't that I can think of is Midnight, which I just checked out from the library (and Innocence, of course). My favorite, by far, is The Face.
Hi all! My name is Ann and I live in upstate New York and I've been a Dean Koontz fan since the early 1980's. The first one I read was "Whispers" ...I was hooked! My favorite is 'Watchers' and all the Odd Thomas books......I found you all from the mention by Dean himself and I'm excited to be able to be in touch with other fans. And I'm a Stephen King fan too....have been since the 1970's........wow! I feel old now! Ha ha!

Hi, I'm Dean from the Orkney Isles, I am honoured to be sharing a name with my favourite author. like so many people in this group I was introduced to Mr Koontz with Watchers and Lightning. They started my addiction and now I own everything he has written that is available in print and a lot of the old sci-fi from the 70's on my e-reader (gained from a naughty source!)
