I'm not too much of a Harry Potter fan but compared to twilight it's much better, but then again anything is better than twilight xD

WOOOOOO harry potter is the best, but the movies SUCK.
I'm a harry potter fan myself and i think it's kinda not fair how people are crazy about twilight.they are like now that there's no harry potter they should find another thing to be crazy about and they've found twilight.but honestly harry potter is MUCH MUCH better than twilight.
Hah, I've loved everything Potter for years. I don't claim that it is the best book, but its brilliant in its own way. I remember reading Enid Blyton and the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew at that age and it was always "Oh, Mm hmm." Then I got my hands on the sorcerer's stone and I was all "Whoa!" I've literally grown up with the series (a new book or movie usually released around July, when my birthday is. 4th book when I was 14, 5th when I was 15...o_o;), and my closest friends and I got together because we liked the series.
So, me, a Harry Potter fan? Yes. YES!

i don't get how twilight is always compared to harry potter and not another vampire book or something that is actually remotely the same as twilight

OH.they compare Stephanie Meyer's work to Jane Austin's work?Well it makes me mad too.
i think these are HER fav authors as well .she's named their works in her book usually.for example Jane Austin's books are Bella's fav books and she'd read Wuthering Heights many times.
Smeyer thinks her books are feminist, when they are so obviously not. In Twilight it was compared with Pride and Prejudice I think. In New Moon it was Romeo and Juliet. Eclipse was Wuthering Heights I think... and Breaking dawn was her own crap.

if people read these books just because of twilight i think it's better if they don't read at all.and I'm saying that your fav book in a few years will be another thing because twilight is not a very creative and awesome book to stay forever.it will be forgotten.trust me.

Well, I think they are starting to make Twilight-y covers to all those classics so that girls will read them. And maybe then they will realize how shitty Twilight is, Jane Eyre is so hard, and I've seen all the Jane Austen movies, including the book club one, I saw the movie to Wuthering Heights, and I loved it!! I really can't wait to move on to it!!If only, both my sister and I could become authors and be famous like them, but... no....
i love harry potter and why people think twilight is better is beyond me! maybe thats why i hate it so much. harry potter will last for generations to come. thankfully, the same can't be said for twilight.

I'm not an uber obsessed fan of HP, but I do enjoy it. I've read it a lot more than I care to admit, but it was really hard to get into. My current favorite series are The 13th Reality books and Fablehaven. Maze Runner is also amazing, but the second one hasn't come out yet. Just friend me and look at my books. Most all of them are great, and there are only a few that I hated with a loathing passion.
Uh.... never heard of any of those; except HP. My current favorite series.... my current favorite series... um, I don't know. TWIlIGHT! jk. Well, I'm reading the first Kingkiller book, it's pretty good. A lot like Elizabeth Haydon's Symphony of the Ages. I just hope it doesn't spoil like her's did.

Really? I think that it was good as it's own movie - but not comparing to the book. The third is my favorite.
