Note To Members - Please Read

Hello from your friendly mods!! We hope everyone is having a good month and enjoying any holidays you may be celebrating at this time.

Kelley Anne and I have been discussing some things about the group and decided we need to do a little "Spring Cleaning". Two things that members should be aware of are as follows:

1. The first aspect that we have looked at is group membership. It is at an all time high of close to 800 members. However, it has been noted that many members do not participate. We understand that with a group of this size, some feel nervous about posting. That's okay.

However, we are currently sifting through the members of the group, and IF: a person hasn't been active on Goodreads in 5-6 months, AND that person has posted 0 comments in this group that person will be removed!

Obviously if you are currently reading this message, it doesn't apply to you. There's no point in having a member in the group if they have not participated in this group, nor have they participated on Goodreads.

2. Kelley Anne and I will be posting a discussion up soon about different aspects of the group. We will be asking whether people like features of the group and what people think could be improved. Keep an eye out for that.

Steph some people don't feel comfortable posting in a large group. Maybe we can help bring you out of your voyeur shell :)

But we are specifically talking about those who aren't even participating on Goodreads. There's no point for them to be in our group if they haven't been on Goodreads since June.

That is certainly a good place to start. You won't remove anyone who is reading that way.

I think that is fair that they be removed if they aren't on Goodreads in the past 1/2 year or so. They could always join later if they are able to become active again.
