What book did you just start?

I started a virtual book group with some old book group members who had moved, or had kids or somehow dropped out of the F2F group from years ago. We met this week via Zoom to discuss Between the World and Me
and am starting next months selection tonight,
My Dark Vanessa. What a great time!
Also started The Stationery Shop
on audio. I'm juggling between this and Island of Sea Women because I can't seem to finish audio books in the library's 2 week time frame since my commute is only about 35 minutes.
Started A Trick of the Light
on audio for the second time. Had it from the library a few months back and then just got it again and didn't realize initially that I had already read about half the book. Thankfully, once I realized it, the story came back very quickly. Also started
The Whistling Season
Started
In the Bleak Midwinter and listening to

Started White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism
and American Nations: A History of the Eleven Rival Regional Cultures of North America
Cher Ami and Major Whittlesey and on audio
Rising Out of Hatred: The Awakening of a Former White NationalistI have not been a good communicator on this (or the finished reading) thread. I have started (and finished) 22 other books since I last posted.

Yes, Betsy, I did. I'm addicted. I don't understand, I'm not an accident gawker in real life. I guess I just can't believe he was elected.
Started
Out of the Deep I Cry
Started The Overstory
for my November book group and on audio started Invisible Women: Data Bias in a World Designed for Men
for December's book group.
Reading
Celestial Bodies and listening to
Hoax: Donald Trump, Fox News, and the Dangerous Distortion of Truth
Linda wrote: "Reading
A Promised Land"Me too. Loving it on audio. Obama is my not-so-secret celebrity crush, so him talking to just me for 29 hours is as close as I'll get to heaven!
Need to select something to read - either e-book or hard copy, just not sure what I'm in the mood for. I started The Power of the Dog
, which grabbed me right away, but I don't think I'm in the mood for it right now. Might go for a classic or an easier read (Overstory was pretty heavy and long).
The Women of Brewster Place: A Novel in Seven Stories (had to tear myself away from
A Promised Land). for a book discussion tomorrow. Grabbed me quickly.
Listening to
The Book Collectors: A Band of Syrian Rebels and the Stories That Carried Them Through a War
Started
Mexican Gothic and listening to

I'm now reading

I hate when a book makes me feel as if I don't have a brain.
