Apparently MY man-gift got lost in the torrential rain. Poo on Santa!A sweater AND a hoodie! Yay! I got Doctor Who and Pushing Daisies DVDs, and some David Gray music--perfect for this rainy weather.
Now to collapse in an exhausted heap. Cooking is hard work!
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, I got a nook so now I have both the Kindle and the Nook, had problems with downloads on the nook last night a glitch in there system but everything is ok today. Hope everyone has a great New Year too.

I'm not sure which I will like best. But I know that barnes and nobles has now made there prices the same for the nook as the kindle. As soon as I read a few days I will update all of you. I have the old kindle1 so I like the size of the nook better. I also like fictionwise now I can have my books on the nook and my droid ereader. my family are electronic nuts. lol.
Droid ereader! I've been a bit mesmorized by their cell phone commercials lately. I think I may have to go to the store to play with one. I need a new phone!Looking forward to hearing your likes and dislikes. I liked the nook in person. Not being able to get my hands on a kindle to compare it myself is a big drawback!
People are afraid to buy me books in case I have them. But I have a wish list on amazon they could check....LOL
I have a Kindle, so my parents got me a $50 Amazon gift certificate for the holidays. My boyfriend also got me an Amazon gift certificate. Yay for Kindle reading!
It's funny. When I'm spending my own money, I have no reservations about buying an entire series for my Kindle. I'm like, "$30? so what". But with gift certificates, I spend lots of time thinking about what books I want to get. I don't know why I do that. :( I sent 5 or 6 free samples of different books to my Kindle so I can make a good decision over the next few days.

Since I'm most familiar with Overdrive, and it's one of the leading industry distributors of e-content to libraries, I checked their site.
Go to http://www.overdrive.com/#
In the middle of the screen, you should see a box that says "Find Libraries with eBooks & More" where you can enter your zip. The two zips I entered from different areas of Dallas both gave me lists of libraries with the service, but the one they had in common was Irving. I don't know how far that is from you, though. Maybe you'll find a local one on the list when you enter your zip.
