2. I started reading more books and watching less TV.
3. I started to eat healthier food.
4. I lost 10-15 pounds.

2. I bought a car and have a car payment now (bleh!)
3. I found out I'm going to be an aunty again!
4. We moved our office to a new building and I've already moved to another room in the new building.
5. I just moved this past weekend. I'm sleep deprived and achy.
6. I've perfected my holiday cookie recipe. :)

my mom divorced my step dad, they were married for about 13 years or so, and we moved from north eastern NJ half way across the country, and im kind of starting to freak out about that more now;
its starting to sink in that its not just a long vacation, and i have no clue about what i am supposed to be doing other then to continue to take care of my mother through her ALS..
blank slates are more scary then they first seem, at least for me, especially at this point in my life..

2. Decided I'm going back to get my Master's because I can't get a full-time job in this economy >_<
3. Joined Goodreads and this group
4. Made cookies for all my friends and sent them out
5. Have almost hit my 2009 goal of reading 250 books!

2) had two weddings (my son and my daughter both got married)
3) bought a new motorcycle that i love and put lots of miles on it
4) volunteered way more this year than i ever have
5) started coming to grips that i am 45 and will not be younger than that again ever
6) was reminded that some friends are like family who have actually chosen you

2) I took a greater interest in things of religious importance.
3) I'm nicer to my brother.
4) I have a new laptop.
5) I am studying, and actually trying now. Because I want to. How nuts is that?

2. Became increasingly introverted.
3. Became closer with my cousins.
4. Recovered from elbow/shoulder surgery.

2. discovered my inner hermit
3. rediscovered my tendency to wallow - and then managed to start beating that tendency back down
4. bought a new (well, new to me) car and regained a car payment
5. promptly damaged said new car (not horribly, so that was good)
6. visited the Grand Canyon and Sedona (both absolutely amazing)
7. decided I'm going to Spain in 2010
8. managed to read my weekly magazines in a relatively timely fashion
9. felt intense gratitude for my current job, even though it can sometimes be very boring for me

2. started a new job.
3. became an aunt. (for the 9th time!)
4. lost a friend.
5. matured a little.
Just curious why you would stop drinking coffee?
I always want to be able to write #5, it just never happens.

That would be a wise choice then. Hope that it helps.
Some changes here, both good and bad:
1. Lost 45 pounds, 19% body fat, and gained muscle.
2. Painted my house...poorly (I need to hire a painter to help finish...ugh!)
3. Picked up writing my novel...again.
4. Dumped MySpace.
5. Took my first vacation with my wife (just the 2 of us) for the first time in years.
6. Sadly, my mother passed away.
7. Made NO attempt to give up coffee.

I'm back in college after nearly 30 years on the lam.

Been there, done that. I didn't get my BS until I was 47. Well ... I had some BS, but no degree.
Good luck with that Clark. I admire the dedication that it will take.
Thanks for the vote of confidence, but I'm sort of nervous. Master's program in IT and I'm sure what little study skills I possessed back in 1980 have now gone the way of the 8-track tape.
Come to think of it, the only thing I knew for sure back then was the exact price of a sixer of Molson, including tax, which I think I knew from genetic memory.

Well at least you had study skills. I'm sure they will come back to you.

Small.

So has small become big, or has small become smaller? :-)

2. I started walking more than ever this year.
3. I've been way more social, to my surprise. Book groups, drinks out with friends, going to see bands downtown. My weekends have disappeared.
4. Something flipped a switch, and all of a sudden I didn't feel like eating sweets much anymore. Weird!
5. I've gotten closer to my aunt's family, thanks to Facebook

I've been walking a lot, too. Oh, and using the stairs instead of the elevator quite often (I work on the 10th floor).

Level Complete: 250 in 2009!
Next Level: 1000 in '10!
That's total books read since I've been keeping track, not how many books I'm going to read next year. Be realistic here :P
And everyone who's lost weight this year:
2. I started dressing a little better.
3. I stayed on track with the health thing (which was only part of a change, I guess, but you know what I mean.) But I hurt my f--king shoulder from working out like an idiot.
4. I stopped going to the Unitarian Universalist church because the congregational leadership was stupid.
5. I moved offices from one building to the next. This was a good thing.
And...you?
