I know..me too! I will be able too after Tuesday morning :D:D

I just finished book 8. Working on book 9 Born of Fire (The League, #2) & book 10 Wicked Lovely.
This challenge has def pushed me to read this month. However, I know it will slow down once school starts on the 25th. That means shortly, homework & study time is priority. As long as I read one more book than last year (49) then I will be happy.

Not yet. What is the first book in the Blossom series?

#24 Plain Truth listening on audio cd
#25 Fear the Worst
#26 Unshapely Things
Normally I don't have 2 books going at once, but I started both and they were just ok, so I have been switching back and forth with them.

Triptych--karin slaughter and Eggs in Purgatory--Laura childs

I recommend trying out Audible. Their previews are a lot longer than, say, iTunes. Plus, if you are a member, their prices are reasonable.

I agree about being able to listen to more. Itunes gives you a small snippet but it is not enough. So far I have been lucky with the few I have listened to but I am sure one of these days I am going to get some annoying person's voice and it is going to drive me crazy!

YES SHE CAN--DAMN i SOUND LIKE bARAK OBAMA AND BOB THE BUILDER.

I understand about reading ruts. Maybe if you find something short and fun, you'll get in the mood to read again. I put a couple young adult books that I read back in middle/high school on hold at the library to read whenever they come in, figuring it will be a nice and fun little break from the longer/heavier stuff at the end of the month.

3 - Dead on Arrival by S. Jeffrey Savage

Vicky, do you have your own thread set up in the "U-Z Lists" section? I didn't see one, but I might have just overlooked it. We're each making our own thread in the spot that corresponds to the first letter of our first name, if that makes sense. Let me know if you have any questions. :-)

10 - Buckingham Palace Gardens by Anne Perry
I really like her books although by the end I'm emotionally exhausted. She creates very deep characters and by the time I'm finished, I feel I've learned and felt what they went through.

Sorry, Kelly R, I don't know how to do that. Help?

Dot, just go to the D folder and click on "view all", then click on "new topic". Then start your list! Name it with something you'll know is yours so you can find it again.

MacKenzie--maybe that's your problem--trying to read too many of the same series can get a little stale. So put that book down and go grab a nice hot chocolate with LOTS of whipped creme and find a book that is as unlike that series as you can get your hands on. Then, maybe go back to your series--unless you are still feeling in a rut, in which case read another 1--this time somewhere in the middle between the series and the 1 you just finished. That's what I do when I feel burned out. :o) Especially if I've just been working on a series that's more than 3 books long.

I am actually doing reasonably well! I have beaten my desired 6 for January already (and that is with the reading load of two online classes!!) If I can keep beating 6 books a month I will be SO happy!

Thanks, Kelly R. for helping me to set up my thread. As you can tell, I'm new at joining groups on the internet. Thanks for making things easier.

Thanks. I have that on my TBR list but I didn't know if it was the first in the series or not. When I finish 92 Pacific Boulevard, I'll begin that series.
