LMAO Scott Patterson. Yeah, I think it's not just the Gilmore Girls Luke thing but the fact that in the show he wears flannel and is the "regular guy".

is it official then? theres gunna be a movie? Oh god, I hope people don't go skitzo over it like Twilight, that would suck. I've seen some people on youtube want that Alexz Johnson to play Clary, I don't see Clary like that at all, so that would suck too.
I keep trying to think of who would be the perfect Jace, but I just cant, Alex Pettyfer is the closest I can think of, but idk.

Alexz Johnson doesnt fit my image of Clary either, but people seem to think she is a good actress. And I havent seen much of Alex Pettyfer's acting but I think his image is the closest match to Jace's that I can find. but idk either :P

hahah yeah, thats not exactly how I would picture Clary....lol. Ive only ever seen her on a random show called Instant Star a couple of times :P

i agree! i don't see Alexz Johnson as Clary. Alex Pettyfer fits Jace's description BUT he's kinda stiff when it comes to acting. I don't know, I just hated his acting in Wild Child. He's okay in Stormbreaker. But he seems better in Tormented. But i like him better in interviews, he's funny and cocky too like Jace. :)
I'm not a fan of Alex Pettyfer's acting, but he's really cute and fit my bill of what Jace looks like. Plus I think he can totally pull of the entire cocky-I'm-so-hot-and-awesome-shadowhunter thing. xD
haha Ive barely seen any of Alex's acting, but his image is almost perfect. And, like Rose said, he can totally pull off the entire cocky-Im-so-hot-and-awesome-shadowhunter thing :P more like Jace-thing ;)

And To Maddison, who asked if they are only making one movie for all three books: Thats what I thought too. But apperently it hasnt been decided yet, so there is still hope! I dont even know how they could put all the information into one movie, so they gotta do it seperately!!
just one movie for 3 books? that would run for 3 or 4 hours or so.
yeah. it will be. things will be in fast phase since they will encapsulate 3 books in 1 film. It's a trilogy, not the never ending story. lol.
yea it'll suck just to cram one book into a movie and the scenes they'll have to take out
it would be a nightmare to have all three books in 1
