FYI: When searching for Mark Haddon's book "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time", it will only appear when searching for its ISBN 1400032716. No edition of this book appears under an author or title search. (If I should report this sort of glitch elsewhere, do let me know. It doesn't appear to be a thing that we librarians can fix.)

Probably a good place to report this in in the Goodreads Feedback group and use the folder titled Bugs when you have a choice from the pull down menu.http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/1...
I'm also going to go look at this as wondering if it is related to another problem...
Edit: Aha!!! Same issue as with The Omnivore's Dilemma. If use the main search box for either the title or author one gets nada. If one goes to the author page for Mark Haddon (or Michael Pollan) the book(s) show up.

Thanks, Lisa! I just found a similar problem with The Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, ISBN 0679450041. When I tried to find that title to add to one of my book club groups, it came up with a very sketchy book record with just title and author, no picture or any other details. When I tried to edit that record, it came up with the message stating that ISBN already existed. When I followed the link to the real and complete record, then added it to my book club group, that incomplete record was added instead of the actual record. Fun fun!
Yes, I also wonder whether this glitch has something to do with the glitch we've had (since yesterday?) where on our home pages, when our friends add books to the update feed, if we've rated them or have them on our to-read lists, they don't show alongside the stars/additions given by our friends. But if we click on the book, yes, it shows up in our records.I assume a fix will be done. Maybe not until next week. It is almost the weekend now.
