I read by whims; I'm not the kind of reader who can post a list and stick to reading through that list. I'll have to add books as I read them.

That's how am going to do it. As long as i get through the 144 books we should be fine.

Hey, Rossy!

I don't think I'll have trouble getting through 144. Since I'm a teacher, I get lots of reading in over the summer. However, you never know what might happen.

I don't mind at all. I stole the idea from Collette. :)

Unapologetic_Bookaholic Oh I want one too, lol! Hi Eyre good to see you here.

Daisiemae | 20 comments You can do it, Eyre! It'll be fun! Good luck!

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Thanks, Kenjii and Daisiemae. It will be fun. I'm going for 350 pieces of literature (including novellas and short stories). That was my goal this year, and I'm not going to make it. I am over 300, though. Some people don't understand how I can read so much, but it's just something that I have to do. I have to read at least a few pages of something every day. It's the one thing that can really distract me from whatever is stressing me out.

Gabbi | 10 comments Wow, Eyre! I love to read, but you definitely beat me! I read when I'm happy, stressed...whatever! LOL!
Good luck! We can do it!

Erotic Horizon (erotichorizon) | 5 comments Am I late with my Pom poms - one is here for you hon...

Gooo Eyre....

This year I read about 500 books so I am not in the frame of mind for another challenge of counting books again...

I am running some challenges that's good enough for me...

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

Wow! I don't think I'll ever make it to 500! I don't know how you did that. It's amazing.

Devon Rhodes (devonrhodes) I'm right there with you, Eyre; I'm trying for 365, one a day. Since my resolution is to not read until I've met my daily writing goal, I figure this'll be incentive to work!!

That's sounds like a pretty good incentive! I'm going to have to make a resolution that I can't read or play online until I get more written on my Boards. Ugh! I hate writing about myself.

Jack, honey, if I had my own "Jack" or "Shayne" at home, I wouldn't be getting nearly as much reading done, and I know I'd be having much more fun! :)
