I still need to read that one.

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 309 comments You should definately read it, even if just for Father Mine. I like the insight it gives you into Wards mind and also what she thinks of he things she writes.

Wminbc | 89 comments Dark-Hunters and Dream-Hunters by AG (The Author Goddess, Sherilyn Kenyon)has been mentioned,
also loved

Kim Harrison's The Hallows series (Rachel Morgan kicks butt and loves coffee!)

Shannon McKenna (McClouds) she isn't quite PNR, but suspense romance with some paranormal/ESP/Powers not understood...

Lara Adrian...Midnight Breeds (Love these)

Alexis Morgan (Paladian series is her best, but the Talions are quite good too)

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 309 comments I am finding the Mightnight Breeds series really hard to get into, I have read the first two, but I am a bit "meh" about them.

I am reading Red-Headed Stepchild (Sabina Kane, #1) by Jaye Wells at the moment and I can definately recommend that

Silvana, I want to read those both so bad. I have to finish my challenge reads. :(

Bunzy, I love the GhostWalkers!

Silvana~Duchess of Avonlea~ | 27 comments I hope you’ll get a chance to read these soon Huntress. I will defiantly be continuing with these refreshing adventure/pnr series as soon as my Kindle arrives.

On a sad and tragic note my new Kindle is malfunctioning *wipes tears from eye* and a replacement is coming in the mail this Thursday.

Hmm there’s a lot of buzz on the GhotWalkers series...

Not yet Suzanne. I know she's a fav for a lot of GR members.

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 309 comments She is one of my faves, but she is one of those love/hate authors I think, people either seem to really like her or hate her. Hopefully you will like her : ) If you do you should try her Dark Carpathian series, they are fab.

I finished the series. Yeah I think it's worth reading.
It's UF and not really romance. It's a bit dark. The characters/species are different from what's normally portrayed. As far as I know she created some new species.

message 76: by Raven (new)

Raven (blackbirdraven) | 9 comments Thanks, I read most of the usual suspects: Black Dagger Brotherhood, Midnight Breed, The Hollows, Merry Gentry Series, Kate Daniels Series, Night Huntress, Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter, Mercy Thompson series, Dark-Hunter Series, Guild Hunter, Dark Fever Series, Kristina Douglas's Fallen series all about 3 times and I need some new blood so to speak.

message 77: by Susan (new)

Susan Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series and Gena Showalter's Lords Of The Underworld are both fantastic.

I loved Larissa's Lords of Deliverance series! I was so thrilled to find out she has new books for it and the Demonica series coming out later this year.

message 85: by Susan (new)

Susan Raven, I not familiar with Gambit. So I can't compare.

message 86: by Susan (new)

Rachelle, Naughty Enabler (muze4u) | 15 comments Reaver and the evil female angel. I can't think of her name right now but I have some thought about the two of them. ;-)

message 94: by PNRlover (new)

PNRlover | 7 comments How does Feehan's Ghostwalkers series compare to her Carpathian series? I read the 1st Carpathian book, however the only edition I could get was the uncut one which I think had about 100 extra pages. I started out enjoying it but after about 1000 repetitions of the same overwrought dialogue I almost couldn't get through it. The same phrases were used over and over to the point of painful and Raven was just, for lack of a better work, stupid. Was the overuse of "little one" and "velvet" and "his loving soothing thoughts" due to me reading the uncut version or is the entire series like that? Confused because I keep finding so many great reviews of these two series. I adore anything by Kresley Cole and J.R. Ward also ranks as one of my favs.

message 95: by Susan (new)

Susan I think the Ghostwalker series is much better than the Carpathian series. I tried that series and abandoned after a couple of books. With the Ghostwalkers you have a more focused storyline so the books just flow from one to the next.

Feehan has a tendency to be wordy, and that's across the board in her books. Despite that, I really enjoy her books. GWs are my favorite out of all her series, hands down.

message 97: by PNRlover (new)

PNRlover | 7 comments Thanks, I'll give Ghostwalkers a try. MacRieve is almost here...!

MsAjay (Ms. Undercover Geek) | 28 comments I would say Black Dagger Brotherhood. But you have to take a break before you start it. I could not enjoy the series properly at first because I kept comparing the series to IAD. It is different and I had to get use to that. The books also get better as the series goes on...

message 99: by Lisa (new)

Lisa (lisam83) | 4 comments I love the Blackthorn series by Lyndsay J. Pryor. Interesting world and lots of emotional tension between the protagonists/lovers.

Oh! and the Thieves series by Lexi Blake. Amazing. Am re-reading them now.

Nalini Singh is an amazing writer. I love the Psy/Changeling series, with the exception of the last two books (they're getting a little slow). Her angel series is also good.
