Is anyone familiar with Fr. Jonathon Morris? He's what used to be called "Father 'what a waste'". Sorry - I know it is not true, but I can see why people used to say it!
Brilliant, brilliant mind. He's very young; if he's even close to my age I'd be surprised. He just wrote a book called - I think - "The Promise" about the Church. He's a perfect example of the holiness and beauty of Christianity, but very loving and funny, also. Sweet.
Check out his book when it comes out!

Oh oh oh, I know this one! It's one of my ALL TIME favourite YA books: "Singularity" by William Sleator. GREAT book.Singularity

This is a YA book. There are two boys, twins, who are staying somewhere with a shed in the yard -- they go exploring and discover that (a) there's some type of wormhole in the shed through which a monster is approaching and (b) this is causing time in the shed to stretch so that hardly any time passes outside after hours in the shed. They argue about what to do about the monster and one of the boys decides that to win the argument and save everyone he needs to be older than his brother, so he spends the night in the shed getting a year older.
I don't even remember what happens with the monster at the end!
