Lyn I'm finding this book hard to get through. Frankly, I think the author is redundant. You know, rehashing the same thoughts more than once. What I mean is, he keeps repeating himself. Get my drift?

I keep checking to make sure I'm not re-reading a chapter I've already finished. I haven't done a sentence-by-sentence comparison or anything, but good Lord...how many ways can he write the same thought over and over and over and over?

Maybe I'll find some examples tonight and post them, since I don't have the book in front of me right now.

Meanwhile, is anyone else suffering from the same boredom I am? I like the premise and I'm hoping for better in the pages to come...

Paul If I remember correctly, the introductory chapter is sort of a summary of the book. The remainder of the book is divided by subject (poverty, war, economy, etc.). Maybe you're just experiencing a rehashing of the first chapter?
