As of April 1, 2011 be ready for the YA Dark Fantasy world to quake as Odessa, Book 1 of The Seraphym Wars is released on Earth. Set on the demon home planet of Dracwald, 17 year old Myrna is transported from her home in Jackonville, Fl to a beastly, demon-corrupted, dragon-filled world at Laud the Creator's behest and against her will. In order to return home, she must fulfill a prophecy by collecting together the six remaining teenaged Vigorios (demon-hunters), get them safely to an island filled with Majikal beings who will train them all for the final war between the Seraphym and the Demons, and avoid falling in love with any of the three men pursuing her. Oh, and did I mention the constant attacks by various mythological beasts along the way, not to mention the demons who want her dead?I have a new book page at http://seraphymwarsodessa.blogspot.com I'd love some feedback. My main website is http://rryalsrussell.com Plenty of contests and Giveaways are planned for the next couple of months, so come check in.

Hello everyone. My first novel, Ebocloud, is about a massive, humanitarian social networking project--sort of like Facebook if it had a soul. The website address in the book is: www.ebocloud.com and so I've used that for my author website. Please stop by to find links to scientific articles that inspired the story, as well as scouting photos I took while researching locations in Manhattan. I'm also blogging about related topics at ebocloud.wordpress.com. Hope to hear from you!
Check out my new website:www.dreamseekeradventures.com
and let me know what you think. Particularly I'm interested if the writing style (what's up so far) is appealing to the audience (middle-grade).
My book 'In Pursuit of a Dream' is the first in a fantasy series entitled Dream Seeker Adventures. Coming soon from Puddletown Publishing Group.
Thank you,
Lisa Ard

A website for fantasy lovers : http://www.wix.com/ivoryautumn/theque...Title – Rise of the Fallen: Book One in Andrew and the Quest of Orion’s Belt series
Author – Ivory Autumn
Release Date – Early summer 2011
Publisher – Lost and Found Publishing
Blurb: To whom it may concern, and you should all be concerned.
I told Ivory not to publish this book. But Ivory never listens to me. For being an elf with such big ears, her hearing is very bad.
So, now here we both are. You wanting to read this VERY DARK tale. And me trying to warn you of the dangers that could happen if you do. You, probably being an ordinary person and all.
No disrespect to ordinary people. I like them…or you. But, generally, ordinary people are toxically attracted to things that are not so healthy for them, like candy, and those old broken-down buildings full of nose hair twisters, and throat gobblers—forgetting that they should be very afraid of dark, spooky, creepyish sort of places, until it’s too late. Be WARNED that this book, once cracked opened, will cause the innocent lights in your bedroom to quake and shiver, and perhaps go out, leaving you in the darkness. So keep a flashlight, or a glowing, friendly, non-poisonous mushroom nearby, just in case.
Only brave individuals should, and dare, to read this book. As for myself, I’m brave. I’m not afraid of the dark. Except for when it’s dark, of course. Ahem.

Hi Andy,I like the main picture and the layout on your website. I also very much like the images of your books and how they fade in and out.
Best wishes to you in writing adventures. I'm just starting and also enjoying working on a website and blog. If you have ideas on how to drive traffic to a website, I'd be interested in hearing more about that.

Hi Ivory,
I checked out your website and am very impressed. If you're willing to share, I'd be interested to learn where you found the music (free?) to include in the site and whether you managed the flash(?) yourself. I especially liked the book with the turning pages.
A couple cautions....when I played your book trailer, both the music from the site and trailer played, which was a little too much. Also a little flash can go a long way, so perhaps look at a little less busy...having said that, perhaps you should ask for reviews from your audience, who may appreciate the energy of the site.
Best wishes to you. The book covers are great. The flash is really spectacular. Music a good choice.
If you have a moment and could check out my site, I'd appreciate it. It's very early in construction with no cover / illustrations yet. I'm also hoping to hear from other authors on the effective ways to drive traffic.
Regards,
Lisa Ard

Hi all, As I am new, and don't have anything published, as yet, I don't have an author page, as such. But I am forging ahead with my first novel during my son's daytime sleeps. Since I have a healthy dose of self-doubt, I am actually putting the story online as I write, trying to find proof-readers to help me improve it as I go. I have 2 enthusiastic readers so far (which have helped me write as much as I have!). If you are interested it can be found at http://deberelene.wordpress.com
Eleven chapters are up so far, chapter 12 will hopefully go up today, and I am endeavouring to complete one chapter per week at the moment.
Thanks in advance for any help.

My book, as well as this discussion group, both pertain to addiction and recovery, and I invite and encourage everyone to join!
My website for Waiting for the Dalai Lama is at http://waitingforthedalailama.webs.com. There's also the Goodreads page: Waiting for the Dalai Lama: Stories from All Sides of the Tibetan Debate
This is what the publisher came up with as a description:
Chinese-speaking journalist Annelie Rozeboom worked as a foreign correspondent in China for ten years. During that time she was able to interview numerous Tibetan people inside and outside Tibet, as well as Chinese and Western observers and the Dalai Lama himself. The focus of the interviews was on the life stories of these people. As they explain their experiences, it becomes clear to the reader why they think the way they do. The book also shows how history washed over this remote kingdom and how the Tibetans and the Chinese came to take such opposing positions.
Waiting for the Dalai Lama is a uniquely valuable book which approaches the emotive issue of Tibet from all sides in an effort to find common ground.
EnchantmentThe teaser to Finding Valor at http://www.thechannieseries.com is just enough to make me extremely anxious…. And having Channie’s Diary at http://www.channiebelks.com to refer to now and then is really a fun idea! I feel like she is so real!
