List of the days we have determined and descriptions:
All 12 days--post a quote from PJO as your facebook status or on your blog.
1-Blue Food Day: Make and eat blue food!
2- Random Quote Day: Spout random PJO quotes and/or prophecies all day
3- Clean Your Cabin Day: Clean your room and have a family member or friend (maybe someone Aphrodite-ish) do “Cabin Inspection” for you (rate 1-5, and tell us what you got! Whoever has the lowest score has to…do something…(we never decided) )
4- Haiku Day: Make up random haikus (7 syllables, then 5, then 7
5- Nature Day: Be nice, “eco-geek,” go for a walk in the park, plant some flowers, take a wilderness picture…whatever you can do to get in the spirit of Pan!
6- Draw A Picture Day: Draw your favorite monster or creature
7- Ancient Greece Day: Find 10-20 new facts about life in Ancient Greece, and/or wear a toga/chiton. And find some Greek words.
8- Music Day: Listen to Hilary Duff, Jesse McCartney, Neil Diamond, Green Day, or elevator music!
9- Dress Up Day: Dress as your favorite character

12- Premiere Day!!!!!! Wear an orange shirt, go to the premiere, talk and post about PJO everywhere and make sure everyone knows The Lightning Thief comes out (came out?) today!!!!

List of dressing up ideas: Shirts--orange/CHB, "Got Hooves?," "My Other Car is a Centaur;" Reeboks/converse; blue plastic hairbrush; plastic/cardboard sword, knife, shield, etc.; Yankees cap; chains like Thalia; shorts; leather necklace; Lightning Bolt pin; Blonde wig. These are all just ideas!

Ideas we could use for 10 & 11: Watch Hercules (Disney) Day: Rent/Watch Hercules and Venn Diagram it with PJO and true mthology (I made up the venn diagram thing but I would do it!); Get a pen, call it Riptide, and use it all day (haha I already do this...except I lost mine and it didn't return :( )

For the clean your cabin day, the person who gets the lowest should actually have to do the dishes!!

Oh yeah I haha. I knew it didn't add up. So should we do the Hercules for 10 and pen thing for 11? Some people might not be able to get Hercules but I can't think of anything else.
Oh and can we switch 6 and 9 (I don't really want to dress up as Annabeth for church haha)

Hey guys you're going to love this. A boy in my class created a way to have something like Percy's sword riptide. The best pen to use is Paper mate. You take off the cover and where the ink part is pull that out untill you have three parts. Now the smallest part needs to face down and put the part with the ink in the right side up. Next flip over the 2 parts together and ut them in the container and there you go you have a Riptide of your own! I can't wait until The movie.

I've got a good idea that we could do on the first too. During this whole 12 days of Lighting Thief lets read the book!
Lets see there's 22 chapters... 12 days. At least 2 chapters a day except for two days you only have to do one.

Does that sound okay for everyone?? If it does, I'll make a schedule on here if you like.

I have no money to buy LT, there's prolly fifty hundred holds on it at the library, and the only person I know that owns it is loaning it to my MOM.
It will be really good to re-read it because there's probably a lot of stuff I forgot and I want to be prepared for the movie. You definitely should not put off your homework for it, but the schedule will be good for people who have time. :)
