While I appreciate what the dude is trying to do, ultimately, it could have been done a lot better.

Various mythologies from around the world are the folks that make the rules and while yes, they can be "tweaked" a little, most of the tweaking depends on how you classify vampirism in the first place.

Most vampires are similar to ghouls. Most are dead, some less so. If your vampire is effectively dead, then they can't father/mother anything.

That's not only vampire lore, that's also common sense.

hahahaha i love that guy =] man hes got it so right. and when you write a vampire book...its like a must to be descriptive in the horrible things the vamps do...like mutilating and devouring people and stuff. You can just say, 'and then he drank her blood'. because that makes a fail. pretty sure they should have the definition for fail as officially 'any of the crap meyer comes out with'
