"Well, her trying to kill me is bad, but what bugs me more is that you're the one who has to tell her not to kill me. And I know you don't want to tell her no, because if the imprint thing, and i don't want you to have to do it." she said.

"It's not me telling her no," Jacob said. "It's her sort of more or less figuring it out."
Susannah sighed. "You really think this'll work?" she asked.
"No," Jacob admitted. "There is a huge risk involved."
"Well last time when we were hiking and she realized that she didn't hate you she confessed me," Jacob said. "And we're gonna have to make her do it again. But last time I was able to break her hold. If I can't break it in time, and she orders me to kill you the she did last time... I'll have no choice."
Susannah thought. It was one thing to have Kahlan want to kill her, but Jacob? It was unimaginable, worse than breaking up with him. But somethings had to be done, so she said, "I still think we shoudl try your plan."
Jacob nodded.Kahlan was in wolf form looking for Jake when she found him and Susannah lying on the ground in eachothers arms. She growled then turned and ran off to shift.
"Here we go," Jacob said standing.

Susannah stood also, already dreading the upcoming conversation.
Kahlan was so mad she went into blood rage. She came back in human form, her eyes blood shot. Jacob noticed her eyes imedeatly. "Oh god it's worse then I thought," he muttered. "Susannan run!!!!!"
Susannah looked at him confused for a second. She hated running away from things, but she knew Jacob only had her best intrest at heart, and if he thought she should run, then she probably should. So she turned and ran.
Kahlan thrust out her hand and without even touching him confessed Jacob."Command me mistress," Jacob said.
"Get her," Kahlan said nodding towards the direction Susannah had run, "and bring her back to me."
Jacob nodded and took off top speed after Susannah.
Susannah continued to run, hoping Kahlan or Jacob didnt come after her, because even though she was fast compared to humans, she had nothing against a wolf, even an unphased one.
Jacob caught up to Susannah, grabbed her arm, and yanked her back harshly.
"No, Jacob! Please don't do this." Susannah pleaded as she struggled in vain. He was a lot stronger than her.
Jacob pulled Susannah back towards Kahlan and held her arms behind her back. "What should I do?" Kahlan mused looking at her hand. "I could confess you then you'd do what ever I ask. I could tell you to light yourself on fire and you'd do simply becasue I asked. What do you think of that?"
"I-I don't really like that idea." Susannah admitted. She was so scared, and it was really hard not to show it. She couldnt even fight back because a) Jacob was stronger than her and b) she didnt really want to hurt Jacob.
"Theres always the second option," Kahlan said almost helpfully.
"What's the second option?" Susannah asked.
"I tell Jacob to kill you," Kahlan said. "He's so wrapped around my finger, it's worse than imprinting."
"Dont do that!" Susannah pleaded. "Do anything but that!" she said. Having Jacob kill her would be worse than just dying.
"Looks like we have a winner," Kahlan said. "Jacob get rid of her.""Yes confessor," Jacob said. He twisted Susannah's arm around and pushed her down to the ground with her arm behind her back.
Susannah cried out as she hit the ground. Tears ran down her face, because her arm was twisted too much. "Please, Jacob, don't do this." she whispered, knowing it was futile, and that jacob was too far gone to hear her.
Jacob didn't react in anyway to acknowledge he had heard Susannah, let alone that it made a difference. He lifted her up and threw her several feet into a nearby tree.
Susannah made a wimpering sound of pain as she hit the tree and slid to the bottom. She had to think she had to get herself out of this situation....
Jacob lifted Susannah to her feet and pinned her against the tree he had just slammed her into.
Susannah started stuggleing. "Kahlan, call him off! Why are you doing this?!" she asked as she tried to get free from his grasp.
"Because I hate you," Kahlan said.As she said that Jacob saw the tear stains on Susannah's cheeks from when he had twisted her arm. His eyes cleared and he reached up and touched the streaks softly. Then he turned and faced Kahlan. "No you don't," he said. "You hate the fact that I imprinted on her. You're mad at me for it. But because you imprinted on me you can't harm me, so you had to find some other way to get out that anger, and who better than Susannah."
"What do you think you're doing?!" Kahlan roared. "I told you to kill her!!"
"And I'm not going to," Jacob said.
Susannah slid down to the ground, still really, really scared.
"How dare you defy your mistress!?" Kahlan demanded."Because you are not my mistress," Jacob said. "I am no longer confessed. Imprinted on you yes, but not confessed. And another thing how dare you confess me?! Then to threaten Susannah the way you did, I swear if we weren't imprinted on each other I'd tear you to shreds even if I wasn't imprinted on anyone, because you have no right to threaten her like that."
"No I don't," Kahlan realized.
Susannah stayed there silent, not really wanting their attention back on her.
"Then why did you do it?" Jacob asked. "Why did you threaten her?""Because I hated her," Kahlan answered
"Why? What did she do? She had no control over my imprinting on her. Who are you mad at?"
"You," Kahlan said. "You imprinted on her, then you kissed her, then when you knew how upset i was over it you still said you wanted her to be your girlfriend!" Tears began to fall down Kahlan's cheeks. "You wanted her to be your girlfriend but not me!" She said.
Jacob wrapped his arms around Kahlan and she cried into his shoulder. "I will always want you." He whispered near silently into her hair.
Susannah sat by the tree, uncomfortable, and wanting more than a little to leave.
Jacob whispered something else in Kahlan's ear, and she lifted her head from his shoulder, wiped her cheeks, turned and walke over to Susannah.
Susannah couldn't help but scoot back, closer to the tree, as soon as Kahlan looked at her.((It was Kahlan who walked over to her, right?))
{{Yeah}}Kahlan sat down by Susannah and faced her. "I'm sorry," Kahlan said. "And Jakes right I was mad at him not at you."
Susannah nodded hesatantly. She felt a bruise forming on her cheek, more than likely had a fractured arm, and possibly a bruised or broken rib, and she did not want to anger Kahlan anymore.
Jacob walked over and knelt by Susannah. "Are you alright?" He asked touching the bruise on her cheek.
Susannah couldn't help but flinch as soon as Jacob came near her, but she nodded anyway.
Jacob dropped his hand when Susannah flinched. Kahlan stood. "See you later?" She asked Jake.
Jacob nodded. "Sure," he said.
Susannah stood. "Bye, guys." she said, and she started walking away, not wanting to sticka round too long.
Kahlan left, going the other way. Jacob looked between Kahlan and Susannah trying to decide who to follow. He decided Susannah because she could be hurt. Jacob caught up to Susannah and touched her arm.
Susannah whirrled around to look at him, startled. "What?" she asked.
"I wanted to make sure you weren't hurt," Jacob said. "And to apologize."
"I'm fine." Susannah said, but even as she said it, her chest and arm throbbed. It was probably just a bruised rib, but it still hurt. And her arm would be fine, it's happened before.
"I'm sorry," Jacob said. "Sorry that I couldn't... that I couldn't stop sooner."
Susannah sighed. "It's fine." she said. But is wasnt completely fine. She just didnt want him to feel bad, so she said what she felt she needed to say.
Jacob put an arm around Susannah. "It's not ok," he said. "I almost killed you."
"I'll be fine." Susannah said, shaking off his arm. She didnt really want to, but she was back to square 1.
Jacob dropped his hand. "What?" He asked.
