"You know it dawns on my that we may not have needed to come," Rebecca said, looking at the carnage left by Alek and Jasper.
Christian shrugged again. "Too late now." he said.
"Alright boys," Rebecca said. "Lead the way to our wolf."
Jasper took a deep breath of the air around them, and started walking.
Alek did the same. And Rebecca followed behind them.
They entered a hallway with cells on either side, each one housing a person or exotic animal, each with an a dress posted to the door. It was at the end of the hall that Jacob was, another a dress in New Zealand on his cell door.
"Anyone else thinking this was a little too easy?" Alek asked, reaching for the door.
Jasper and Christian nodded. "Its also too quiet." Jasper commented. "I can feel the anger of the things here, but none of them seem to be making any noise."
Rebecca looked curiously at the door infront of them, then grabbed Alek's wrist. "What?" Alek asked.
"It's covered in wards."
"What does that mean?" Christian asked.
"Spells to keep certain people out or in as the need arises," Alek said. "In this case both," Rebecca added.
"I suck with wards," Alek growled.
"Luckily, just like everything else you suck at I am very good at. But there are a lot so it might take some time."
"The guys out front wont be out for long." Christian said.
"Well then you three should stand guard," Rebecca said.
Christian and Jasper nodded, and they left, Christian standing outside, Jasper inside.
Alek stayed near Rebecca to stop anything that might get passed Christian and Jasper. Rebecca focused and slowly dismanteled the wards one by one.
Christian watched the guys outside closely.
Jacob started to come too, the scent of vampire filling his sense as soon as he was conscious.
When the guys started to stir, Christian blocked their vision, hearing, and smell. Blocked off from their senses, they were kept from truly coming to again, and drifted back into unconsciousness.
As the events of earlier came back to him Jacob's heart rate picked up and his anger grew. "Somebody's waking up," Alek said.
"What the hell are you doing here Alek?" Jacob asked.
"Saving you," Rebecca answered. "Now shush, you're wrecking my concentration."
When the guys by Jasper started waking up, he kicked them, and they lost consciousness again.
"Just a few more... and... done!" Rebecca said, the door clicking open as the last ward was undone.
"That's it?" Jasper asked skeptically from where he was.
"I agree," Alek said. "It still feels too easy."
"There has to be something we don't know." Jasper said.
Rebecca, not hearing Alek and Jasper's conversation, opened the door to let Jacob out.
Nothing happened and the door opened without a hitch.

"You have to take everyone," Rebeccca told Alek as Jacob came out. "I don't have the energy to travel that far with anyone."
Jasper told Christian that he'd be going back with Alek."I can get back myself." Christian said.
Alek Jacob and Rebecca headed back the way they came in.
"Your brother said he's going back himself." Jasper said to Rebecca when they were in view.
"How do you plan on doing that exactly?" Rebecca asked.
"I'm not telling you everything I can do. Just go, and I'll follow." Christian said.
Rebecca shrugged then vanished, leaving Alek to teleport Jacob and Jasper.
Christian stepped outside and moved towards the side of the building where its shadow was cast. Instead of stepping on it, however, he stepped through it, and emerged in the shadow cast by Jacob's house.
"You're going to have to teach me that too," Rebecca said, appearing just a moment before Christian.
"You couldn't handle shadow traveling from here to that rock over there." Christian said, pointing to a large boulder about fifty feet away.
While Christian and Rebecca where outside discussing magic transport Alek appeared inside with Jasper and Jacob.
Susannah, who had moved to the couch Zach beside her, stood when she saw them. She looked Jacob over, and when nothing appeared to be wrong, she left to her room without comment or reaction.
Jacob followed her out without a word.
Susannah grabbed the bag she'd brought with her to Sabrinas house, which she never unpacked.
"What are you doing?" Jacob asked, catching her arm.
"Let me ask you a question," Susannah said, setting the bag on the bed and sitting next to it. "Had I been able to get there, would you have wanted me to go help you?" she asked.
"Had Rebecca brought me along, what would you have said?" Susannah rephrased. "Because nobody let me go because they were all afraid you'd be angry."
"I wouldn't have wanted them to bright you somewhere that could have potentially been very dangerous for you," Jacob said.
"Even if I wanted to go, and know I wouldn't have gotten in the way, and could have been an asset? Even if I can actually help?" Susannah said.
"I wouldn't have wanted you there, because they were after you," Jacob said.
"Then why did they take you?" Susannah asked.
"Because I wouldn't tell them about you," Jacob said, as though it were completely obvious.
