"I'm glad," Rebecca said, kissing him softly.

Zach smiled and returned her kiss lightly.
"We should get dressed," Rebecca said softly.
Zach nodded. "We should." he agreed.
"We should get dressed," Rebecca whispered, but didn't move away.
Zach nodded again, but started to lazily run his fingers through her hair rather than move to get his clothes.
{{Whoops, I didn't realize I posted the same thing twice, more or less}}Rebecca closed her eyes and leaned into his hand.
Rebecca sighed happily. "When should we tell them about us?" She asked after a little while.
"That Caroline isn't the only one engaged," Rebecca said.
"Oh," Zach said, and he thought for a moment. "Hm...not for a while." he finally said.
"How come?" Rebecca asked curiously.
"They would freak out." Zach explained. "I don't think they'd be too happy."
Zach sighed, and finally reached for his clothes.
Rebecca put her clothes on begrudgingly.
"So are we gonna sit here until they leave?" Rebecca whispered, peaking out over the table.
"Sabrina's a vampire now," Rebecca said, sitting down.
"What?" Zach asked, surprised. "How?"
"She was stabbed," Rebecca said. "I guess Alek took her to Carlisle to save her."
"I don't know," Rebecca said. "I saw her with a knife in her chest, then Alek teleported off with her; then later they were back and she was a newborn."
"I'm bored," Rebecca complained, tipping her head back against the wall.
"Me too." Zach replied. He heard some rustling, and peeked out of the treehouse. "Hey, I think they're leaving." he said.
"Thank god," Rebecca said, moving toward the door.
Once they were inside, Zach climbed down from the tree.
Rebecca jumped down after him, using magic to cushion her landing.
Not two seconds later, Sabrina was jumping the fence to Zach's backyard and walking up to them. "I need to talk to you, Rebecca." she said.
"You know how when you and Alek teleport, you don't always have to know the exact place? You can focus on the people you're trying to get to?" Sabrina asked. "Is there any way for a person to keep themselves from being found by that kind of power?"
Rebecca shook her head. "None that I know of," she said. "Why do you ask?"
"No reason..." Sabrina replied. She paused for a second, then hesitantly continued. "Do you...do you think you could check around a bit? Just to make sure?"
"Thank you," Sabrina said. "It's important." Then she left back the way she came.
Rebecca took Zach's hand and continued toward the house as if Sabrina had never come.
"where would you even look to learn about that kind of magic?" Zach asked.
"I'm not going to," Rebecca said softly when they were inside. "I'm not getting into her and Alek's relationship drama."
Zach couldn't help but laugh. "Drama?" he said. "Not the word I would use. The girl doesn't want to be easily found. I'm sure there's a good reason."
"I doubt it," Rebecca said. "She thinks that hiding will make everything go away. It won't; she just has to deal with reality."
Zach shrugged. "Sometimes people need time before they can face reality." Oddly enough, the turn the conversation had taken reminded him a bit of Caroline.
"So why do you think your family will be upset about us?" Rebecca asked.
"Because we're 17 and they have very traditional college-career-marriage values?" Zach said.
"It's not like I'm pregnant or anything," Rebecca said. "We just know that we want to marry each other."
"They aren't going to take us seriously. So I don't want them to know." Zach replied.
"Alright," Rebecca said, going into the kitchen to look for some breakfast.
Zach pulled her back outside quickly. "Sorry, love, we'll have to get breakfast somewhere else."
