Sabrina felt the slight pull on her hand and followed Alek, using his steps to measure her own.

Rebecca was sitting out in the hall playing games on her phone. "That didn't take long," she said, when she saw them.
"It was like half an hour," Alek said.
"Like I said: Ages." Sabrina said, and she headed out of the hospital.
"So I guess being a vampire has done nothing for your ADHD," Alek said jokingly.
Sabrina laughed, and smiled at him. "I guess not." she said.
Alek smiled and opened the car door for her so she didn't break it.
"Thank you." Sabrina said getting into the car.
Alek nodded, closing the door and getting in himself. "So where to?" Rebecca asked.
Sabrina shrugged, looking distracted.
"Let's head back to your place," Alek said. "Alright," Rebecca said, pulling out.
"I almost forgot," Alek said reaching into his pocket, "I swiped this for you." He pulled out a full blood bag and passed it to Sabrina.
"You're not drinking that in here," Rebecca said. "That's the last thing I need: give Christian his car back with blood everywhere."
"Please put it away." Sabrina said, looking out of the window and suddenly avoiding everyone's eyes.
"I thought it could help curb your appetite, while you transition onto animal blood," Alek said, but slid it into his pocket.
"Thank you. But later." Sabrina said, resting her head against the window. However now that she knew it was there, the scent of the blood seemed to fill the car, even while still in its packaging and the car ride started to feel like waiting in the hospital did.
"Roll down the windows," Alek said to Rebecca.
Once the windows rolled down, the fresh air that blew into the car helped wash away some of the scent of the blood until Sabrina could ignore it, if not comfortably, at least tolerably, and she sighed with relief, a human habit her body still remembered.
They pulled into the driveway a few minutes later.
Sabrina got out of the car - too fast - and closed the door - too hard - and groaned.
"Relax," Alek said. "No ones around to see now. But do be caureful with the car."
"Don't worry about it," Alek said. "The car looks fine. "
"Ok, well. I'm going to go...somewhere. See you later." Sabrina said, then she was gone.
Alek sighed, thanked Rebecca, then went to get his car from Jacob's house.
Susannah was out, looking around the car and wondering where everyone went since she'd never seen them leave.
"Hey," Alek said when he arrived.
"Oh, there you are." Susannah said. "Where's Sabrina?"
"She couldn't come," Alek said truthfully.
"You were both just inside." Sabrina said, confused.
"Stuff happened and we had to leave in a hurry," Alek said.
"Better than ever," Alek nodded, semi-believably.
"...ok then. See you later." Susannah said, and she went back inside.
"Later," Alek said, then drove off.
"Hey baby," Rebecca answered happily.
"Hey," Zach said, sounding nervous. "There's something I have to talk to you about that I've been...avoiding. But it's kind of important." he said.
"...Would you mind, terribly, if I accidentally got you mixed up in some...family drama kind of stuff?" Zach said. "I'm sorry, but he cornered me."
"What family drama? Who cornered you?!" The first question was curious but the second was angry.
"Not literal cornering." Zach said gently. "I'm alright. Conversational cornering. I don't think I've ever told you, what with our lives always being in danger and stuff, but my dad's a businessman. Always away. But every now and again he calls and one thing lead to another, and now he wants to meet you."
"Oh," Rebecca said. "Ok. Why were you avoiding that?"
Zach sighed. "I'm not done yet. My sister- well, step sister, same mom, different dad's- is also going to be visiting. I don't know all the details, my mom just told me, but it boils down to the fact that she got engaged and is coming to introduce the guy to mom. She's older, 24. But she's never liked my dad, and she's never liked me. She doesn't even like it when I call her my sister. And she's defiantly never liked any of my girlfriends. They will both me here in..." Zach checked his phone "About two hours, my mom somehow forgetting to tell either one about the other, so they're in for a nasty surprise but my dad insists I bring you to dinner tonight. So...yeah."
"Should I wear a dress?" Rebecca asked already searching her closet. "And don't worry about your sister, or not sister, or whatever, not liking me; if it comes down to it I can always just make her."
"You don't mind that it's so last minute?" Zach asked. "Really, I'm sorry."
"It's not your fault," Rebecca said. "But it will be your fault that I'm late if you don't hang up let me get ready." She said half joking.
"Alright. Thank you, love. Bye," Zach said.
Rebecca dug through her closet for a dress, most of them way to short, suitable only for clubbing; the others far to long, like what she'd worn to the solstice dance. Finally she found a dress she never even remembered getting in the back of her closet, but it worked well. She laid it out on her bed and then went through her jewelry getting a choker necklace, pair of earrings and ring, and finally a pair of stiletto sandals.Dress: http://media2.onsugar.com/files/2014/...

Zach dug through his closet and found some slacks that he dusted off, a blue button down shirt, and then he grabbed a comb and headed into the bathroom to tame the thing that was his hair.
After showering and getting dressed Rebecca put on a little bit of gold eye shadow, mascara, and clear lip gloss. Then she put the roof on her car and drove to Zach's house.{{What's Zach's last name? You know for Rebecca to greet is parents and all.}}
