Alek was suddenly flung from Sabrinas mind entirely as the real Sabrina woke up,

Alek's eyes snapped open and he staggered slightly: temporarily thrown off balance by the suddenness of his return.
"You were not supposed to see that," Sabrina gasped, surprised both by how much he'd seen and how quickly she'd managed to snap herself awake.
"I'm sorry," Alek said, although he wasn't entirely certain what he was apologizing for. He sat down on the bed beside her and sat her on his lap. He wrapped one arm around her waist and rubbed her back lightly with the other.
"Can I get that detailed explanation now?" Sabrina asked.
Alek nodded. "Adrian has a brother, Balthazar. Apparently at one point they or at least he spent some time in Ailey as Henry. When they came here they hunted Susannah. He even managed to snap her neck, which Jacob killed him for. As payback for that, Adrian killed Susannah's mother. That's when I got here: the first time I met your cousin she was burning their bodies. When Adrian first came back and I found out about the ritual she had done in order to do so, I thought she hadn't helped him do the same. But it would seem I was wrong. He just didn't come back with his sister, he went looking for you back in Georgia: but you weren't there anymore." He hadn't paused or taken a single breath through the entirety if the explanation.
By the end of the explanation, Sabrina was breathing slightly faster, hearing him speak without pausing for breath eliciting that response from here that she thought would be natural if someone had spoken so long until she unconsciously did it, to fill the silence where there should be breath. Finally she said. "Interesting."
"Not what I'd go with," Alek said, "but ok."
Sabrina sighed. "Thanks for getting him out of my head" she said. "It was driving me crazy."
Alek nodded. He pressed his head against her shoulder, thinking about how much his head had hurt while he was inside hers.
"What are you thinking about?" Sabrina asked curiously.
"What about me?" Sabrina asked in confusion.
"When I was with Balthazar in your head," Alek said. "I was thinking about being there. About feeling what you do."
"Oh." Sabrina said, a light blush rising to her cheeks. "I need to stop asking questions I don't want the answer to."
"Mmh," was all Alek said in response. He closed his eyes, his head still on her shoulder.
Unconsciously, and without thinking about it, Sabrina started to run her fingers through his hair gently.
Alek moaned quietly, enjoying the feeling.
Sabrina kissed the top of his head, and rested hers against his, her fingers still moving through his hair.
Alek lightly kissed her shoulder his arms tightening around her slightly.
"We shouldn't be doing this." Sabrina sighed softly.
"Shh," Alek whispered, sliding his hand up her back to her neck and pulling her lips to his.
Sabrina kissed him softly, almost hesitantly, like someone who was afraid of something.
Alek kissed her gently, putting his hands on her hips to turn her body toward him.
Sabrinas hands clenched into fists and tensed against him, to pull him closer or push him away, she wasn't sure.
Alek ran a hand through her hair while he kissed her adoringly.
"Don't." Sabrina gasped softly, breaking the kiss. "Don't do that." she whispered desperately.
Alek kept a hand on the base of her skull, holding her face less than an inch from his. He stared at her unblinkingly, his eyes looked as desperate as his voice sounded, but for a different reason.
"Alek, I can't." Sabrina said. "Just like you aren't strong enough to be with me completely, I'm not strong enough to be with you partly. To kiss you and feel what I feel for you to come to the forefront of my heart, and then walk away from you with a hollow feeling in my chest along with a pain like a bandaid being rippled away. A bandaid with hooks along the edges. I try so hard to be strong, and not show weakness, and that's part of why I was so freaked out when you saw all of my weakness all at once. And somehow that just makes this worse, and I know that when we walk away from each other now, it will only hurt more, and I just cant Alek. I can't." Sabrina said, her voice breaking,
Alek meant to say she was right, to let go of her. But instead he was shocked when he heard his own voice whisper: "Then don't go."
"Don't say words you don't mean." Sabrina said warningly: warning him not to lie, or herself not to hope, she wasn't sure.
"Stay," Alek breathed. He hadn't meant to say it, but once he had he didn't really want to take it back.
Sabrinas eyes lit up in a way they hadn't for nearly a week, since before they'd broken up, before he had nearly killed her and everything between them both intensified and fell apart, and she leaned in and kissed him, softly, but intensely.
Alek balled his fists into the fabric of her clothes. He pulled her into him and kissed her desperately.
Sabrina wrapped her arms around him more completely, and more securely, her love for him plain in the way her lips moved against his.
Alek's lips moved fervently against hers as he pulled her shirt over her head.
Sabrina moaned softly, and lifted her arms to untangle them from her shirt before wrapping them around him again.
Alek lightly pressed his fingers into her waist and kissed her jaw and neck. "I love you," he whispered again and again, relishing the taste of the words as they passed his lips.
Sabrinas breath caught at the sound of them, part of her still not quite believing that after having seemingly loved one-sided, her feelings were returned.
Alek kissed her chest, moaning softly as he felt her heart beat against his lips.
Sabrina sighed his name softly, her hands finding their way into his hair.
Alek whispered her name in response, moving lower to her stomach.
Sabrina moaned quietly, and she closed her eyes and just felt him against her. So she didn't see soft white flames dance from her fingertips and across Aleks skin. She didn't see them envelope him and gently burn away the darkness of being a vampire, and enter him from his chest, where they made their home, making his heart beat and sending warmth through his limbs. It was only when she noticed the change in his hands that she opened her eyes and looked at him, and they widened.
Alek looked at her, his eyes wide, panting to fill his lungs with air for the first time in months.
Sabrina looked at her hands, then back at him, the only words coming to her mind being, "I'm sorry?"
Alek took her face in his hands and kissed her, hard. Not holding back at all, not having to worry about hurting her, or loosing control. "Sorry... for... what?" He breathed as he kissed her.
Sabrina shuddered at the feeling of the heat if his hands on her, the feeling of his breath, the way he no longer held her like something breakable, and she said, "Nothing," as she returned his kiss passionately,
Alek pushed her down on the bed and climbed ontop of her, straddling her waist. He took her hands, interlocking their fingers, and pinned them beside her head. He leaned down and his lips attacked her neck in a way they hadn't before.
Sabrina gasped and moaned, her hands clinging to his.
Alek kissed her neck harder, his teeth grazing her skin.
