While Zachs eyes were close Rebecca got up and snuck around behind Zach. She leaned against the wall behind him and smiled. Now just focus on this. she put an image of her face smiling just the way it was that exact momment.

zach made a whimpering soud in the back of his throat. What he would give to see her smile like that again.
Open. The voice whispered
Zach opened his eyes. "The world, if anything, seems even worse." he said.
Turn around the voice whispered fading as rebecca pulled the connection out of zachs mind, the same smile still on her face
zach turned around, and put his hand to his mouth to stiffle a scream.
"Shhh!" Rebecca whispered urgently. She stepped forward and put her arms around his neck. "I'm sorry I put you through that Zach."
Zach took several steps back, "You planned that?" he asked in a choked whisper.
"I needed to know that if the choice came up again you would decide you still wanted me. I was never hurt Zach."
zach shook his head to clear it. "This is crazy." he whispered, "When is what I see going to be real? Can I ever trust my eyes?"
Rebecca kissed him. "Do you believe your eyes now?" she asked looking into his eyes.
Rebecca kissed him again a little longer and with a lot more passion. She pulled away and put a hand on his cheek. "How about now?" she whispered.
Zach broke down. He started crying. He told himsle fhe must look like a wimp, and to stop, but he couldnt.
"Zach stop crying!" Rebecca whined quietly. "You know how I feel about it." She laughed a little at the words that had made Zach think he had lost his mind.
zach hugged her tightly, "I'm sorry." he said, but he didnt stop.
Rebecca hugged him back and stroked his hair. "Shh, it's alright," she whispered. "I'm here. And I'm not going anywhere for along time." Tears silently rolled from here eyes and she kissed his cheek softly.
"God Rebecca, I thought I had lost you." Zach said, backing up a little, and wiping his eyes as color flooded his cheeks as he thought about how he must have looked.
"Well you didn't, all because you said you didn't want to lose me."
zach was getting himself together, and releif was making way to anger, and disbeleif. "Rebecca! What the hell was wrong with you!?!" he said.
Rebecca stared at Zach confused at where the anger came from, a half a second before he had been crying. "What?" she asked.
"Why would you do something like that? Do you have a death wish? What, because the blonde didnt get it done the first time, you had to re-enact it?" Zach said.
"I wanted to know what you would choose if the choice that vampire ever came up again you would say you wanted me, and if you didn't I would have left and you would never had heard from me again. After I left you in the woods I realized I didn't want to screw everything up over a fight so I decided the best way to figure things out was to see what you would choose. I wanted you back but not if you would decide to leave me dead. I needed to know if I could try to make up with you." She said quickly tripping over her words.
"I only ever even considered that desision because she said she might hurt you again. have you ever heard of the expression, things worse than death?" Zach said.
"For me the only thing worse then death is not being able to see you. And I can't see you if I'm dead."
"Just dont do it again, ok?" Zach said as he closed his eyes in frustration.
"I won't. It killed me to see you see hurt. The only reason I didn't get up right there was because your friend was there. Who is she anyway?"
"Susannah. I wonder where she went anyway..." Zach said as he moved towards the door.
"Oh um yeah about that," Rebecca said playing with her ear and looking down. She quickly dropped her control on Susannah.
Susannah burst into the room, "What happened?" she asked quickly."What do you mean? You're the one that left." Zach said.
"I did?" Susannah said, confused.
"Rebecca, you didnt..." Zach said turning towards her.
Rebecca didn't look at Zach. "Maybe," she said.
"Oh, Rebecca..." Zach sighed, "What am I going to do with you?" he asked, with a smile.
"What I needed her to step out of the room, and everytime I tried to tell you to make her leave you thought you were going crazy," she said. Then she looked and Susannah. "Hi I'm the girl who was just lying dead on the floor." She knew it was silly but she didn't like Susannah. She was jealouse that Susannah had been there and comforted Zach when he had found her but she didn't say anything.{{Sorry it took a while Im multitasking}}
Susannah looked at Zach, eyes round as saucers, "How is that possible?" she asked."I might tell you later, but for now, just know that everything is ok." he said.
Susannah smiled, "Just like i said, right?"
Zach laughed, "Yes, just like you said."
Rebecca cleared her throat loudly to get Zach's attention off of Susannah and back on her.
Zach looked at Rebecca, "So...you're ok?" he asked her.
"Yep I'm fine," she said. She glanced over at Susannah out of the corner of her eye trying to think of a way to get her to leave.
"Hey, what time is it?" Susannah asked."About...6:00." zach said, looking out the window at the sun.
"Ok, well then I can only stay for a little bit." Susannah said. "Bye, Zach, and...I'm sorry, I dont know your name." she said. turning to Rebecca.
"Rebecca," she said with a smile that, she knew wasn't real but she she thought would pass as real enough. She put her hand out, "nice to meet you, Susannah right?"
Susannah shook her hand, "yeah." she said with a genuin smile.
"Thanks for comforting Zach when I ... uh ... couldn't," she said not wanting to many mortals to know about her powers.
Susannah's smile widened, "No problem. Now, I gotta go, so see you later Zach." she said as she left."Bye." Zach said just before the door closed.
"So where were we?" Rebecca asked wrapping her arms around Zach's neck.Kyle drove into Forks looking for Rebecca.
Zach wrapped his arms around her waist, "We were about like this." he said, with a smile.Susannah walked the streets. She hadnt really had to leave, but the girl, Rebecca was her name, was making her nervous.
"Yeah this seems about right," rebecca said then kissed him.Kyle had gone to Rebecca's house and suprised her mom. But she told him that Rebecca was probably with her boyfriend. Kyle didn't like the idea of rebecca with some one else but he thanked rebecca's mom and went and found Zachs house. He got there and looked through the window with pair of binochulars and saw Rebecca kissing Zach he almost lost his mind but he just watched silently planning his move.
Zach kissed her back. "You know," he said, leaning back, "We've never been on a proper date, where I'm not hypnotized, and your not dead. I want to take you out on a proper date."
"Where and when?" Rebecca asked smiling.{{Srry it took a while -- chores.}}
"Tomorrow. 7:00. You and me, dinner." Zach said.
"It's a date," Rebecca laughed. Then she kissed Zach again.
Zach kissed her back.Susannah walked through the woods. What she had seen was weird, no doubt about it but, she couldnt very likely tell anyone without them calling her crazy...well, crazier then usual.
