"If you're trying to guilt me it's not going to work," Alek called. "I don't have much of a conscious."

"we'll see what happens." Sabrina said, and she kept walking.
Alek ran up behind her, wrapped his arms around her waist and teleported to her door. "I'm still keeping the battery," he said.
Sabrina smiled. "that's ok." She said. "thanks for not making me walk all the way over here by myself. there aren't so many woods in Adline. they scare me."
(Ailey. I keel forgetting how to spell the town's name. I'm not familiar with it, I just googled "small Georgia towns")
Alek kissed her gently then vanished.
Before she went in Alek had gone to her room and left the battery on her pillow.
Sabrina smiled when she saw the battery, and she put her phone back together. she called alek.
"One time thing," Alek said upon answering.
"for someone who claims not to have much of a conscious, you've proven surprisingly sweet." Sabrina said.
"Maybe I'm just trying to get you comfortable before I turn on you," Alek suggested.
"You're also very pessimistic." Sabrina said. "and I think I've made it pretty clear how comfortable I am around you. if you wanted to turn on me, you could have done it any of the hundreds ds of seconds I spent breathless and completely enticed by you. so unless you're ruthlessly biding your time, I find it hard to believe."
"I'm very patient," Alek said. "I'll never die. I've got nothing but time to bide."
"if that's the case, then I've never met anyone so cunning. this'll prove to be interesting either way." Sabrina replied.
"Yes I am quite cunning," Alek joked.
"I'll talk to you later, mastermind heartbreaker." Sabrina said in goodbye, her tone joking.
Susannah woke up early, as she had everyday, went by the lake in the woods to pick a single daisy, as she had everyday, and went to visit Jacob, taking away the wilted daisy from his bedside from the day before, and replacing it with the new one. every morning since he'd been put under the coma, she'd visited him for exactly one hour first thing in the morning, and one hour in the evening. she always talked to him, mostly giving him an update on what was going on with her, their friends, and always that she loved him. because the coma was chemically induced, she was never sure if he actually heard her, but it was better than worrying about him all the time.
"Good morning, Susannah," Carlisle said, coming in to check on Jacob.
"Morning Dr. Cullen." Susannah replied. "How is he?"
"Almost totally healed," Carlisle said. "Another day or two and he'll be ready."
"That's great." Susannah said. "How will he wake up?"
"Not like he did last time," Carlisle said. "It will be much calmer."
"Will you be back this evening?" Carlisle asked, already sure she would be.
Susannah nodded, "Yeah." She replied.
"Then I will see you this evening," Carlisle said heading out of the room. Jacob was still off to the side of the bed from when he had made room for Susannah.
After an hour, Susannah left.Sabrina knocked on Aleks door, holding a brightly colored flyer in her hand.
"Boo!" Alek said, appearing behind her.
Sabrina screamed, spinning around. when she saw him she glared at him playfully and hit him on the arm with the flyer. "Alek!" she said, the reprimand made light by her laughter. "That's it, now you have to say yes."
"Yes," Alek said. "Now what am I saying yes to?"
Sabrina held up the flyer. "this Friday forks is holding a summer solstice festival and dance at the town square. and you're talking me." she said.
"I'm not really that into dances," Alek said, opening the door to let them in. "How much do you really want to go?"
"a lot" Sabrina said, looking at him pleasingly. "please?" she asked, clamping her hands in front of her and staring at him with her eyes that were big and blue and just as pleading as her voice.
"Alright," Alek sighed. "But this gets me out of a school sponsored dance in the future."
Sabrina sighed. "Fine," she said, pouting. "One future school dance."
Sabrina grinned and threw her arms around him. "Thank you! " She said. "it'll be fun, I promise."
"so, what we're you doing outside? " Sabrina asked curiously, pulling back.
"I just got back from hunting," Alek said,
"so then would you say you're at your safest?" Sabrina asked, taking a step closer to him.
"I would," Alek said, sliding his arms around her waist.
