Zach held her close.

"See any sun yet?" Rebecca asked.
Rebecca groaned. "Walking is boring when you can run fast than human sight."
"We can't just start running like we could just a few days ago," Rebecca said.
"Yeah, well. . .I prefer this." Zach said.
Zach's hand played with the ends of her hair.
"See anything yet?" Rebecca asked.
"Is that some, over there?" Zach asked, pointing, then said, "Never mind, it's a street light."
"I have a great idea," Rebecca said. "Washingto has a bunch of mountains, and some break the cloud bank..." Then, still holding his arm she teleported to a spot just above the clouds, where they were surounded by sunlight.
"Whoa. . ." Zach breathed, looking around them.
"Nice huh?" Rebecca said alittle more tha asked. She shivered alittle, their altitude making the air around them cooler. She pushed closer to Zach, glad that he was actually giving off heat now.
Zach wrapped his arms around her. "Yeah." he agreed.
Rebecca sank down to sit on the floor.
Zach followed, keeping his arms around her.
Rebecca laid her head on his chest.
Rebecca closed her eyes tiredly, the teleportation taking more out of her then she thought it should have.
Rebecca nodded. "Very," she mumbled, already doesing off.
"You just woke up." Zach pointed out.
"Magic, very draining," Rebecca muttered, then she was asleep.
Zach held her quietly, stroking her hair.
Not long after she had fallen asleep Rebecca started having a nightmare. In the dream she was where they were right then, she was even sleeping on Zachs chest the same way. She woke up and started to sit up when she felt a sudden pain in her stomach. Her hand slid over to the source of the pain only to feel a knife sticking out of her. She looked down as the hand holding the blade twisted and she cried out loudly. She began to follow the arm holding the knife. She jolted awake as the wielder flashed her a wicked grin, twisting it again. She started fighting, pushing at Zahc, but when she realized she was awake, she crumpled into him and started sobbing.
Zach tightened his hold on her, holding her closer as he stroked her hair. "Shhh, shhh, it was just a dream." he said softly.
Rebecca clung to him desperately, sobbing bitterly, because as much as she tried to pretend otherwise she knew the face she had seen all too well.
"What did you dream?" Zach asked quietly, still stroking her hair.
Rebecca shook her head, not wanting to tell him.
Zach accepted her silence - for now, anyway since he wasn't sure he could hold back from asking a again later - and kissed the top of her head lightly.
"Sorry," Rebecca said in a choked whisper, looking at his shirt.
"I got your shirt all wet," Rebecca said.
"It's alright. It's just a shirt. What I want to know is what made you cry in the first place." Zach said.
Rebecca shook her head again. "I can't tell you," she said.
"Because it'll upset you," Rebecca said.
"It will," Rebecca said, "trust me."
Rebecca wrapped her arms around him and held him tightly, tears still streaming doen her face.
Zach gently rubbed her back as he held her.
Rebecca's breath was shaky from crying, and she shuddered occasionally from left over sobs.
Zach tucked her hair behind her ears, and wiped away any left over tears with his thumb.
"I was being killed," Rebecca whispered.
Zach sucked in a quick, startled gasp. "By who?" he asked quietly.
Rebecca shook her head again, refusing to tell anymore.
Zach sighed, and rested his head on hers, keeping quiet.
"It's not that I don't want to tell you everything, I just dont think that its a good idea," Rebecca said.
