Susannah stood, and went to his room. She picked up the piece of paper, the locked herself in the bathroom, so she'd be completely alone, just as she promised, before opening it.

If tomorrow you still want one I will write you one, but until then I need you to do something very important. Susannah, I am not a good person, I bever have been and as hard as I try I'm I never will be. At this point your probably thinking that this is nonsense and that you should just throw it away, but I beg you please keep reading. Susannah I have hurt you repeatedly and am hurting you right now, I know you know I am a warlock but I don't know if you even remember the spell that makes people think that they love me, the spell that you are now under and for that I am very sorry. Now tonight when you and Jacob go to sleep I need you to put on that ring he gave you, then I need you to close your eyes, pretend that he is me and kiss him with all the love and adoration you would me. I love you and because of that you need to do this so that I can try to set things right. And Susannah if you would, please burn this note after you read it.
Susannah read the note several times, trying to make sense of it. And while she couldn't quite understand the first half of the note, she did understand that in the second part, Alek asked her to so something, and because he asked, she was going to do it. Once she'd memorized it - which didn't take long since she couldn't stop reading it - she set it on fire, and it turned into ashes in her palm. She tossed the ashes in the trashcan, and then stepped back out, going back to sit on the couch where'd she'd made room for herself earlier by moving Jacob's feet.
Jacob was still watching tv but he had a homework sheet out that he was doing when there were commercials. "So what was the paper?" he asked not looking up from the paper on his lap.
"Nothing." Susannah said, grabbing a textbook out of her backpack.
Jacob shrugged, scribbling down an answer as the commercials ended.
Susannah worked on her work through both the commercials and whatever television program Jacob had put on.
Since Jacob only worked during the commercials he took a lot longer than Susannah.
Once she finished, Susannah put her books back in her backpack, then watched the television.
Jacob left his homework in a fairly neat pile on the table once he was done.
"Did you understand the spanish?" Susannah asked him.
"Could you help me double check my answers?" Susannah asked. "I think I messed up somewhere."
Jacob groaned and leaned over. "Wrong, wrong, wrong.wrong, wrong, wrong," he said pointing to almost everyother question.
Susannah groaned. "Seriously? Or are you just saying that?"
"The last two I was just kidding, but the other four really were wrong," Jacob said playfully.
"It's not funny." Susannah said, elbowing him as she went back to change her answers.
Jacob chuckled. "I thought it was," he said, smiling.
"Well you thought wrong." Susannah said. "There, what about that?" she asked, showing him the paper again.
"Check that one again," he said pointing to one of the later ones.
"Make sure your tenses match," Jacob hinted.
Susannah read her answer three times before she found the error and corrected it.
"You got it," Jacob said smiling.
"Thanks for the help." Susannah said with a smile as she put her books back in her backpack.
"No problem," Jacob said, "glad I could help."
Susannah closed her backpack, then at back on the couch.
"What time is it?" Jacob asked, yawning slightly.
Jacob got up. "I think I'm gonna go to bed," he said stretching his back.{{HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!}}
"That's a good idea." Susannah said, also standing.
"You can change first," Jacob said, not feeling as hostile toward her as he had the day before.
"Alright, thanks." Susannah said, and she went into the room to change, coming out once she'd done.
Jacob went in to change and stuck his head out the door and let her know he was done.
Susannah walked into the room once he was dressed
Jacob laid down on the side away from bed side table.
((Actually, it won't be new years where I live for another 30 minutes. So, happy early new years))As she lay down, Susannah got the ring, and slipped it on.
Jacob lightly put his arm around her waist, pretending the way he had the night before, when he was under the spell.
Susannah turned to him, and took a deep breath before grabbing the front of his shirt and pulled him to her in a kiss, pretending he was Alek and kissing him with as much love and adoration as she would him, just like Alek asked.
Jacob froze for a moment , in shock, before he started struggling, trying to get away from her.
Susannah wasn't sure what she was trying to accomplish, so after a second or so, she let go of him.
By the time she let him go, the spell had weakened significantly so that he wasn't angry, just confused. "What was that?" he asked breathlessly.
"I'm not. . .I'm not sure." Susannah said, just as breathless.
"I mean it was nice," Jacob said, "but wrong. Very very wrong."
"Yeah. Wrong." Susannah agreed. "But nice."
"You shouldn't have done that," Jacob said, but even as he did he leaned in closer to her.
"I know." Susannah said, also leaning in a bit closer. "But it's done."
"Susannah, I'm scared," Jacob whispered, his lips lightly brushing against hers.
"Of what?" Susannah whispered, her lips tingling where his brushed against them for a reason that eluded her.
"Because I don't feel that it was wrong," Jacob whispered even quieter.
