"He only likes you because of that stupid spell." Susannah said.

"What spell?" Jacob asked. "Nothing," Rebecka said, "she's just upset because you're not with her anymore." She turned to Susannah, "It wouldn't have effected the answer about the Cullen's," she whispered.
"'Alright' doesn't come close to equaling, 'i could ever love you again'." Susannah said.
"What about Bella?" Rebecka asked Jacob."I loved her until I imprinted," Jacob said.
"Isabella Cullen was turned before he imprinted for the first time," Rebecka said. "And what does it matter if he could love you again? He's with me now."
"Well it wouldn't if Alek had done what he was supposed to," Rebecka said. "If he had none of this would be an issue. But what's done is done." She ran forward and and bit Susannah in the same place Alek had."
"No!" Alek yelled, fighting against Jacob's grip. He managed to get out of his grip only to be stopped by Rebecka. "What are you going to do?"
"Stop the tranformation."
"No you aren't," Rebecka said. "Not without my approval."
"And how do I get that?"
"You have to take her, for real."
"No, please, I swore to her I wouldn't." Alek shoved passed Rebecka and knelt by Susannah's side, lightly rubbing her head. "Please anything else please," he said quietly.
"That is the only way," Rebecka said. "Use your spell, then I will allow you to take the venom from her system."
He placed his forehead against Susannah's. "What do I do?" He asked her, whispering. "I can't let her kill you, but I said I wouldn't. What do you want me to do?"
"Just make it stop." Susannah whimpered, referring to the fire running through her veins.
Alek nodded, sliding his hand into hers. He closed his eyes and called on his magic.Rebecka put the tips of her fingers on the back of his hand and she could feel the magic as it ran down into Susannah's hand, casting the spell.
Susannah curled up around Alek. "Alek, it hurts." she whimpered.
"It's alright," he said quietly, "I'll make it stop." He gently tilted her head back and began to drink the venom out of her veins. Once it was gone he forced himself to stop and licked the bite, sealing it.
Susannah threw her arms around him. "Oh, Alek, thank you."
Rebecka smirked and left with Jacob. "Don't even think about stopping it once I'm gone," she said as she left.Alek lightly wrapped an arm around her waist, hugging her gently. "I'm sorry," he whispered, kissing her cheek softly.
"You didn't do anything wrong, Alek." Susannah said.
"I wish that were true," Alek said sadly.
Susannah ran a hand through his hair. "Shhh, babe, it's ok. As long as we aren't late for school, of course."
Alek kissed her briefly before getting to his feet. "Why don't you go get your stuff," he said.
Susannah nodded. "Alright." she siad, and she went into Jacob's room to get her books.
Alek lessened the spell so that Susannah's actions would be influenced but that some part of her would know that it wasn't what she wanted.
When Susannah came back with her things, her expression was suspicious. Something wasn't quite right. She just wasn't sure what.
"Everything alright?" Alek asked, putting a hand on the small of her back.
Susannah flinched at his touch for a second, but then calmed down. His hand didn't feel right, but she couldn't come up for a reason why, so instead she just shook her head and said, "No, everything's fine."
Alek thought for a minute debatibg something then made up his mind and took the spell off her.
Susannah's hair lit, and she stomped her foot in anger. "That wretched b!tc#!" she said angrily.
"Calm down," Alek said, putting his hands on her shoulders.
Susannah took a deep, shaky with anger, breath, and didn't let it out until her hair was back to normal. "I can't believe she did that!" she said, still plenty angry.
"I'm sorry," Alek said. "Sorry she did that, sorry I had to use the spell, sorry that she took Jacob from you, sorry that its my fault she found out, and sorry that I have to tell you that you can't just pretend anymore."
"I'm so sorry but either you actually love me, which I know you don't, or you have to actually be under the spell. Pretending just isn't enough and if she finds out just about this she will change you and there will be nothing I can do to stop her."
Tears, the color of fire since they mixed with her anger, fell down Susannah's face. "I hate her so much." she said. "Why is she doing this? Why does she have to make everything so complicated?"
Alek wiped the tears off her face with his thumb. "She's power hungry," he said. "She wants to control everyone, she wants to rule everyone."
"Well it sucks." Susannah said, leaning into him some.
Alek rubbed her back lightly. "I know and I'm sorry I dragged you into this," he said.
"You know, you're right, it is your fault." Susannah said glaring slightly, moving away from him.
"Susannah, I'm sorry, I never meant for any of this to happen," Alek said. "But she was like this long before me. I just reminded her of why she had been that way."
"Why'd you come here in the first place?" Susannah asked. "What did you want from me?"
"I didn't.come her for you," Alek said, "I came here for her."
"Then why did you end up messing with me?" Susannah asked.
Alek shrugged. "I thought it would be fun," he said, "having a girl that a werewolf was imprinted on."
"You're humor's very twisted." Susannah said.
"That's probably true," Alek said.
"Anyway, just get it over with." Susannah said.
"Would you rather have it that you know that it's not what you want and are just doing it because you have to or would rather believe it yourself?" Alek asked his eyes turning black with magik.
"I'd rather just believe it." Susannah said, sighing with defeat.
Alek nodded, he was about to cast the spell when he noticed the ring on her finger. "What are you going to do with that?" He asked lifting her hand for her to see it.
Susannah looked at it with sad eyes. "I'm just going to leave it on Jacob's night stand." she said, and she walked into his room and set the ring down on the small table.
Alek waited trying desperatly to figure out something so that he wouldn't have to use the spell against Susannah.
Susannah came back. "Alright, that's done."
"What if I took you away?" Alek asked her. "What if I took you somewhere she couldn't get to you?"
