Zach groaned, and struggled to get up.

Rebecca grabbed his chin and lifted it to look at his throat. The cracks were disappearing but leaving scars in their place. Rebecca put her hand to his throat and her hand started to glow.
Zach scrambled back from her glowing hand. "Get away from me." he said.
"I'm getting rid of the scars in your neck so people wont ask questions," Rebecca said rolling her eyes. "We can't get found out.""And when you done with him take care of the dogs paw," Alek said to Rebecca.
Zach stared at her suspiciously, but stopped trying to move away.
Rebecca finished getting rid of the scars on Zach's neck and moved on to Jacob's paw.
Zach started to move away from the scene.
"Bye,"Rebecca called over her shoulder. Wow you really blew it, Rebecka laughed in Zach's head.
After Rebecca healed his paw Jacob got up and started at Susannah deciding whether or not he should try to approach her.
Leave me alone. Zach grumbled.Susannah was leaning against a tree, her arms crossed over her chest, and her back to the scene. She couldn't believe what Alek had asked her to do, or what he himself had done. At the same time, she couldn't shake the undying love and loyalty she had for him.
"I think the wolf wants to talk to you," Rebecca told Susannah as Jacob went to shift.Well I have no one else to talk to and I'm bored so no, Rebecka said.
Then maybe you should talk instead of mock. Zach said.Susannah glanced behind her. "Well I'm done throwing things at him." she said, before she went back to simply staring into the woods.
Jacob came back shifted and dressed and went up behind Susannah. "We need to be getting home," he said leaning on the same tree she was just a few inched behind. "It's getting late.""What are you talking about?" Alek asked.
"She lives with me because her parents are dead," Jacob shot. "Unless you would rather her live on the street."
Alek's eyes narrowed at Jacob but after a minute he nodded. "Fine," he said.
But mocking is so much funnier, Rebecka said. So now what are you gonna due about Alek?
"Alright." Susannah said.I don't know. Zach said. There's what I want to do, which is rip him apart. Then there's what I can do, which is much cloudier.
Well he won't be that strong forever, Rebecka said. I mean he'll always be a vampire but a newborn is especially powerful for the first month or so. Maybe after that you can kick his @$$ instead of him kicking yours. Or you could always try to take him by surprise, I can teach you to teleport to people not places.Jacob reached out to take her hand.
Do tell. Zach thought.Susannah took his hand instinctively.
"Come on," Jacob said leading her back to the school parking lot.It's really just about focusing, Rebecka said. That and practice.
Susannah followed.Interesting. Zach said.
Choose someone, Rebecka said.Jacob lead Susannah to the car and opened the door for her.
Like who? Zach asked."Thanks." Susannah said, getting into the car.
Jacob nodded and got into the car. The paw that had been burned was his right hand which now sat in the gear shift.Someone who wouldn't start asking questions when you suddenly appear out of thin air, Rebecka said.
Susannah's eyes were drawn to the hand that had been injured. "I'm sorry." she said.Caleb. Zach decided.
Picture you and him in the same place and don't think of anything else, Rebecka told him. Then teleport.Jacob shrugged.
Zach thought of Caleb and him in the same place. But he couldn't figure out how to teleport. This isn't working.Susannah looked out the window, and thought of Alek.
"What are you thinking about?" Jacob asked trying to keep the moment from being too awkward.Apparently we need to work on normal teleporting first, Rebecka said. Teleport somewhere, anywhere.
"Alek." Susannah answered.Zach thought of his room at home, and teleported there in seconds.
I just realized you should probably take your date home before we continue, Rebecka said laughing at the thought of Jacqleen at the dance alone."Oh," Jacob said. "What about him?"
Oh my god, Jacqleen! Zach thought, and he teleported back to the school, and went in to find her."Just how awesome he is." Susannah said.
"Oh," Jacob said again, things instantly becoming more awkward.Jacquleen was sitting in the corner of the gym with her head on her knees, crying.

((its alright. I fell asleep))Susannah went back to simply looking out the window.
"Jacquleen?" Zach said once he found her.
"Go away," Jacqleen muttered not picking her head up from her dress. Jacob pulled up to the house and turned off the car. "You go on in," he said, "I'll be in in a minute."
"Jacquleen, I'm sorry." Zach said. "Things came up, and it got complicated, and I - I just - I'm sorry.""Alright." Susannah said, and she got out and went into the house.
Once Susannah was inside Jacob leaned his head against the steering wheel and screamed trying to get out all of his aggravation. "Did you say yes just to get back to me for the thing with Rebecca?" Jacqleen snapped looking at him.
Susannah sat on the couch."No." Zach said. "I wouldn't do that Jacqleen. I said yes because I was feeling down. Horrible, actually. And you? When I was with you those five minutes you asked me out, I felt better. Like maybe life wasn't as screwed up as it seemed. And I like that feeling. So, I said yes, and up until I left, I was having fun. I enjoyed spending time with you, Jacqleen. I didn't know I'd missed it until tonight."
"Then why did you leave me here?" Jacqleen asked in a choked whisper.Jacob started slamming his fists against the wheel, still screaming, having brief moments where his hands turned to claws.
"I got sidetracked." Zach said. "Forgot about everything. Even you, and for that I am so sorry."Susannah read a book she'd brought in one of the boxes.
When Jacob was done he sat back and saw claw marks that raked across the steering wheel. "Damn," he muttered touching the scratches."With her?!" Jacqleen yelled. "Everything is always about her with you isn't it? You're here with someone else and you're thinking about her. Let me remind you of something, SHE- DUMPED-YOU!!!"
Susannah just continued reading.Zach flinched. "I know that, ok?" he said softly. "God, I know that. But you're wrong about one thing. I wasn't thinking about her tonight. Not until she dragged me away to talk to me anyway."
"Well why didn't you come back?" Jaquleen asked putting her head back in lap."How was the dance?" Billy asked Jacob asked he walked in.
"It sucked," Jacob said slamming the door.
"I'm back, aren't I?" Zach said, getting upset now. He'd tried to apologize, and he'd apologized sincerely, but he'd been through too much the past two days to endure another emotional beat down.Susannah didn't even look up from her book.
Jacob went and got a pillow and blanket from his room and brought it to the living room. "You can have the the bed," Jacob said. "I'll sleep on the couch or in my car or something.""Can you just take me home now please?" Jaquleen asked getting up and straightening her gown.
"You sure?" Susannah asked."With pleasure." Zach said, and he turned and walked angrily away.
"What is up with you anyway?" Jaquleen asked. "Like what's up with your skin. Dancing with you was like dancing with an ice cube. I just didn't complain cause I was glad to be here.""Yeah I'm sure," Jacob said.
{{Srry laptop issues. Now I have to use my phone so typing will take a while}}
Zach just shrugged. "Nothing." he said dismissively. He opened her door, then walked over to the drivers side and got into the car without waiting for her to get in first."Alright." Susannah said, standing.

Jacob put the pillow on the couch and laid down. "Sweet dreams," he said to Susannah."So having rock hard ice cold skin is completly normal?" Jaquleen challenged
"You too." Susannah said. She walked into his room, and changed into something more comfortable than her dress."It is for me." Zach said, pulling out of the parking lot once she was in the car.
"What the h**l is that supposed to mean?" Jaquleen asked.Jacob closed his eyes and tried to sleep.
"It's supposed to mean drop it." Zach said as he drove.When she laid down to go to sleep, the first thought that entered Susannah's mind was fear of more nightmares. But the bed still smelled a bit like Jacob, and for some reason she couldn't understand, that comforted her, and she soon fell asleep.
It took Jacob hours to fall asleep. "Fine," Jaquleen said annoyed and turned to look out the window.
Susannah slept fitfully, and only a couple of hours later, she was awake again, and crying quietly.Zach stopped at her house. "You're home." he said.
"Thank you for saying yes," Jaquleen said quietly as she got out of the car.Jacob had only been asleep for a little while, and not in a very deep one when the sound of Susannah crying drifted into the living room. His eyes popped open and he was in his room in a second. Then out of habit he pulled Susannah onto his lap and started rubbing her back. Then he remembered the dance and let his arms drop to his sides.
