Zach started walking to the school, her hand in his.

Rebecca leaned her head on his shoulder.
Zach took his hand from hers, and wrapped an arm around her waist instead.
Rebecca close her eyes and teleported them to school just as the bell rang for lunch.{{g2g for like an hour.}}
"Just in time for lunch. We haven't missed too much school, then." Zach said.
"Nope," Rebecca said, walking in.
Rebecca walked into the lunch room and paused. The only seats available were where they usually sat, but Jacob and Susannah were already there.
"What's wrong?" Zach asked when he saw her pause.
Rebecca nodded over to the table.
"What about it?" Zach asked, not understanding.((I don't understand either. Why does Jacob and Susannah being there matter?))
"I almost killed Susannah remember," Rebecca said. "And it wasn't Rebecka either it was me, I did that."
"Oh, yeah." Zach said, remembering. "Well, it doesn't hurt to at least sit next to them."
"Her boyfriend is an imprinted werewolf whose teeth can rip me to shreds," Rebecca said. Then she noticed one other seat towards the back of the cafeteria. It was at a small table with only one other seat, that seat was occupied by Alek Petrov. "You go ahead and sit with them," Rebecca said. "They have nothing against you. Besides I think I see one other seat."
"Alright." Zach said. He took a seat next to Susannah and Jacob.
"Hey," Jacob said. "Um...hi," Rebecca said to Alek. "Do you mind if I sit?"
"Not at all Rebecca," Alek said.
"How do you know my name?" Rebecca asked sitting down.
"I know plenty more than that about you. You're the reason I moved to this country."
"How so?"
"Let's just say there are multiple things that we have in common."
"Is Rebecca gonna sit here too?" Jacob asked, not seeing her go sit somewhere else."Like what?" Rebecca asked.
Like this, Alek's voice rang out in her head.
Rebecca smiled.
"And a certain extra power you posses," Alek continued. "Not being a vampire but the other one."
Rebecca's smile widened some, understanding what he meant, but not what he intended. She put her hand out to shake. "Nice to meet you..."
"Alek," he said taking her and and casting the spell.
"She thinks you guys are still mad at her." Zach said. "She decided to go sit somewhere else."
Jacob nodded. "I'm not as upset since she revived Susannah, but I'm still kinda pissed."Rebecca realized for one brief moment what had happened but before her understanding could register on her face as anger the spell took hold and she was his.
Zach nodded. "She thought so."Christian walked in late to lunch, and as he stepped into the lunch room, he saw the strangest thing he'd ever seen. As a general rule, people are always bathed in a light shadow that only a shadow spinner could see. This shadow is made from the natural insecurities that most people possess. But when he walked in, Christian saw one of the darkest shadows around a person he'd ever seen. He actually couldn't see the face of the person because of it. It was only as he was walking forward that he realized it was Susannah. "Something happen?" he asked them, sitting next to Zach.
"Many things have happened," Jacob said. "Anything in particular you are referring to?"
Christian shrugged, his eyes on Susannah even as he spoke to Jacob. "Something bad? Like, really, really bad?"
Jacob looked over at Susannah. "Well yeah," he said. But that was Susannah's business, he would let her tell him if she wanted to.Rebecca came over and put a hand on Zach's shoulder. "Can I talk to you for a minute?" She asked.
"Adrian killed my mom." Susannah said quietly."Oh." Christian said, his expression clouding with grave worry. "That explains it."
"Sure." Zach said.
Rebecca turned and walked out into the hall way.Jacob wrapped an arm around Susannah's waist.
Zach followed her."Jacob, can I talk to you? Alone?" Christian asked.
"Sure," Jacob said. "Zach I'm breaking up with you," Rebecca said the moment they were in the hall.
Christian stood and walked a bit away from the table, out of Susannah's hearing."What?" Zach asked.
"I, am, breaking, up, with, you," Rebecca said slowly. "Jacob got up and followed.
"Why?" Zach asked, her words still not completely registering."Jacob, this is bad." Christian said.
"Obviously," Jacob said. "Because I met someone else," Rebecca said.
"No, you don't get it." Christian said. "You can't see the shadows around her. Just like firestarters can love and be happier than the average person, they also feel pain like nothing else.""Who?" Zach asked.
"Alek," Rebecca said, smiling at the mention of his name. "Zach he understands me in a way that you would not believe. He can do what I can do.""Well aside for giving her time and comfort I don't know what to do about it," Jacob said.
Zach just stared at her, completely unable to believe what he was hearing."I'm just telling you to keep an eye on her. And forget about giving her time. It only gets worse for firestarters over time. They need human interaction, so don't let her try to get away from people. I know! You guys could go to the spring fling." Christian said.
"But she said she didn't want to go," Jacob said."I mean he can do everything I can. We are exactly the same, except that he's a guy and I'm a girl and he's not a vampire but other than that we could be the same person," Rebecca rambled on.

((its ok. I fell asleep))"Convince her to go." Christian said. "I don't know how. Say you want to go. She'd go then. But this is how it starts. You want to know the real reason firestarters are so rare? It's because a lot of them go into seclusion and are never seen again because the balance of emotions only get stronger as their powers get stronger."
"But. . .Rebecca, you don't even know this guy." Zach said.
Rebecca shrugged. "Because you knew all about me when we started going out," she challenged."Fine I'll try," Jacob said. "But I can't force her to do something she won't."
"And that's my fault?" Zach shot back."Just watch her a bit carefully." Christian said. "I will too. Emotions can be powerful things." then he left the cafeteria, heading towards the library in his final minutes of lunch.
Jacob went and sat down with Susannah and wrapped his arms around her."Yeah it is," Rebecca said. "You were simple enough to date someone who took away your free will." Not caring about sparing his feelings.
Susannah leaned her head against him."Rebecca, please - " Zach started out, desperation in his voice as pain entered his eyes at her words. But he couldn't think of anything more to say.
Rebecca put her hand on his cheek. "Oh, I've hurt you," she said sounding like her old self. "I said I wouldn't do that didn't I?" Then she took her hand away. "Oh well it looks like that doesn't matter anymore," she said brusquely."I've been thinking," Jacob said. "And I think maybe we should go to the dance after all."
Zach knew his heart didn't beat, and he'd never stopped to wonder if if broke. But he knew now as he felt it breaking into small, sharp, painful pieces. Too painful to keep it off of his face or out of his eyes. He turned and walked away without another word."You want to go?" Susannah asked.
Jacob nodded. "I think it would be good for you to have it to take your mind off of things. Plus it sounds like fun. And honestly the only time I've ever been to a dance was because Billy paid me to tell Bella Swan something. And even then I just showed up, said what I needed to, and left so I kinda want to go."Rebecca went back into the cafeteria.
"Alright, then." Susannah said. "I guess we'll go."Zach walked straight out of the school building, deciding he really couldn't make it through the rest of the school day.
Alek walked up behind Rebecca and wrapped his arms around her. "So are you going to Spring fling?" He asked. "That depends," Rebecca said.
"On?"
"On if you're asking."
"I am."
"Then I guess I'm going."
"That's good," Jacob said.
Susannah nodded. She saw Rebecca at the far end of the cafeteria. "Hey, did you see Zach come back?" she asked Jacob.
Jacob shook his head. "No," he said.
"Hm. I wonder where he went." Susannah said.
"I don't know," Jacob said."Come on," Alek said taking Rebecca's hand and leading her over to the table with Susannah and Jacob. "Hello again," he said. "Mind if we sit?"
