((yeah, I noticed))What? Zach snapped back, partially because he was in no position to talk, and because he still wasn't certain it was actually her.
When it's time I need you to kiss me, Rebecca said.
Are you insane? Zach asked. I'm having trouble just seeing straight right now.
Would you please just trust me and do what I'm telling you, Rebecca said.
Rebecka started stumbeling forward and if she were being pushed. Rebecca was manipulating the air around her pushing toward Zach.
Rebecka continued to stumble forward until she was standing right over Zach. Then the air pushed down forcing her to kneel over him, and continued pushing until her face was just fraction of an inch away from his. She kept trying to move away but Rebecca kept her there. Now, she said in Zachs head.
Zach leaned forward, and kissed her.
It took a moment but then all of a sudden Rebecca kissed back for just a second before she pulled away. She got to her feet and with a waver of her hand the vines were gone.
As soon as the vines let him go, Zach curled in on himself, hiding from everything.
Rebecca crouched down next to him and gently ran her fingers through his hair. "I'm sorry," she whispered. "I am so so sorry."
Zach flinched away from her touch, moving out of reach.
Rebecca held out her hand and Zachs right arm flew into it. She moved over to Zachs side and slowly moved him so that the shoulder was toward her.
Zach's eyes were closed, his mind some how convincing his body to wait for her to hurt him again.
"I sure this is going to be uncomfortable," Rebecca said, holding the arm just slightly above the shoulder making sure it would line up properly. "And I'm sorry but I think it will probably hurt too." Then she touched the two together and the arm began reattached itself.
Zach groaned in pain, though it was nothing like what he'd felt earlier.
After a minute or so the arm was done leaving only a faint scar where it had been detached.
Zach didn't move or look at her, afraid if he made one wrong move Rebecka would be back to finish what she'd started.
Rebecca gently laid him on his back and ran her fingers through his hair again.
Zach couldn't help but start to take comfort in the feel of her fingers in his hair.
"Are you still angry with me?" Rebecca asked childishly.
Rebecca smiled. She leaned down and kissed his forehead. "I am very sorry for what I did," she said. "If I hadn't this wouldn't have happened to you."
"How are you feeling," Rebecca asked, still running her fingers through his hair.
"Well come on you should try and sit up," Rebecca said putting a hand under his shoulder.
"Thats it," Rebecca said holding him up. "Let me know if it gets to be too much to handel, being like this."
Rebecca started running her finger through his hair again.
"Do you want to try to stand?" Rebecca asked.
Zach shook his head. "Not right now." he said.
"Alright," Rebecca said gently rubbing his back.
"That was close." Zach said, his voice shaking slightly.
"What was?" Rebecca asked not knowing what he meant.
"What happened with Rebecka." Zach clarified.
"I've never been so close to dying." Zach mused. "It's strange."
"What was it like?" Rebecca asked. "Being drawn and quartered?"
"Painful." Zach asked. "Like. . .well, like being ripped apart."
"I'm sorry," Rebecca said for probably the dozenth or so time.
"Come on," Rebecca said. "Lets get you on your feet. You don't have to stay up but I want you to at least stand for a few seconds."
Zach started to sob again, trying to twist away from the vine that was hurting his arm.
