Susannah just rolled her eyes.

Rebecca smirked then dug her nails into the cuts she had just made.
"Finally some sort of normal reaction," Rebecca said. "I was beginning to think you were one of those people who don't feel pain."
"You haven't been hurting me." Susannah pointed out. "Until just now anyway."
"Apparently getting you to a point of an adrenalin rush is going to be harder than I thought," Rebecca mused walking to her closet. She pulled a small box forward, opened it, and smiled at it's contents. "Luckily I think I have something that will ratify that. You remember the day you met Zach and I? I had faked my death to test him because of something that had happened earlier. That something was a mord sith, and I killed her. But later I went back for something." She reached it the box and pulled out an Agiel.
At seeing the Agiel, Susannah lost all control on her emotions in the situation, and started to backpedal as quickly away from it as she could. Unfortunately, she'd forgotten about the chair, and ended up toppling backwards, before scrambling backwards on the floor, clumsily trying to get away from the Agiel without taking her eyes off it.
Rebecca smiled at Susannah's reaction. "Where do you think you're going?" she asked. She waved her hand and the chair righted itself another wave pulled Susannah back into the seat.
Susannah was shaking now, trembling terribly. She opened her mouth to reply, but no words came.
"Don't worry," Rebecca said. "I'm not going to use it on you, yet. I have a theory to test. They say that the anticipation of pain is often worse than the pain itself. Let's see how true it is." Rebecca leaned her head next to where she had carved her name, the smell of the drying blood made her lick her lips. She held the agiel less than a fraction of a centimeter from Susannah's cheek.
The shaking, if possible, got even worse.
Rebecca felt the hum of adrenaline like electricity moving though Susannah's veins and moved the agiel closer, still not touching her.
Susannah started whimpering as she tried not to cry.
"Shhh," Rebecca whispered using her free hand to stroke Susannah's other cheek. "Nothing is hurting you."
"Th-those things...th-those people..." Susannah whispered, her eyes wide and terrified as they kept the Agiel in their sight. Her eyes never left the Agiel, but her mind was back with the mord sith.
"They're not here," Rebecca said now stroking Susannah's neck. She moved the agiel from near her face, but the space between it and her never changed. It passed down her arms and was brought near the throat. But Rebecca wasn't a mord sith, she wouldn't be able to bring Susannah back so she continued. She stopped at Susannah's chest the agiel closer than it had been to her cheek. "I wouldn't advise breathing heavily," she commented.
Susannah stopped breathing completely, only taking the smallest of breaths when she was absolutely about to die from lack of air.
Rebecca touched the agiel to Susannah's chest for just one second before then then held it at her own side.
A strangled squeaky sound left Susannah's mouth from the one second of pain the Agiel caused.
Rebecca took a step back from Susannah for a moment. "Now I need you to be perfectly honest with me," she said. "Which was worse? Knowing that the pain was coming or just that one moment when you actually felt it."
"Seeing that thing." Susannah answered, her words just louder than a breath, the shaking not letting her say anything louder.
"Interesting," Rebecca said nodding. "So if I had made it invisible but told you it was there which would have been worse the knowing or the pain?"
"Again. I hate those things." Susannah said, trying to lessen the shaking.
"Well now that I've got you all full of adrenaline I think that it's time to get this over with before it wears off," Rebecca sighed. "Which is unfortunate I was having so much fun. But I'm not letting it go to waste."
"What would it take to get you to put that thing away?" Susannah asked, her eyes still on the Agiel.
"Don't worry I'll be putting it away in just a minute," Rebecca assured her.
Some of the shaking had stopped, and Susannah was calming down as she got used to the Agiel being in the room.
Rebecca could smell the adrenaline running it's course and couldn't wait any longer. She flicked her wrist and the chair was yanked out from under Susannah. She sat on her chest and put a knee in each arm to hold her down. She grathered up Susannah's hair and yanked it in order to make her head tilt back and expose her neck.
Susannah tried struggling, but it was pointless since Rebecca was much, much stronger than her.
Rebecca put the agiel down right next to Susannah's head to make a free hand she slowly stroked Susannah's throat with the tips of her fingers, feeling her pulse.
The shaking started again full force when Susannah realized how close the Agiel was again.
Rebecca smiled and moved the agiel alittle closer.
Susannah squeezed her eyes shut, as the shaking became worse.
Rebecca reached downs and raked her nails across the her name on Susannah's neck. Reopening the cuts and stared at the blood as it pooled in the crook of her neck.
Susannah started fighting even more, though it had no effect.
Rebecca leaned down and slowly licked up the blood. She groaned as the adrenaline filled blood washed over her taste buds.
"Rebecca, just finish this. Please. Or let me go. I vote for the second option." Susannah said, fighting back harder.
Rebecca's hand tightened on Susannah's hair and she pulled it harder making her head tilt back farther. She moved her lips away from the crook of her neck to her jugular. "This way you'll bleed out faster," she whispered, her lips brushing against Susannahs throat.
Susannah winced at the pain from her hair being pulled, and tried to fight back more.
"Stop struggling," Rebecca said picking up the agiel and pressing it into her shoulder.
Susannah cried out once in pain before saying, "You're a heartless b*tc#, you know that. There was never any hope for you. I can't believe I trusted you. I can't believe Zach trusted you." Then she screamed, as loud as she could, "Somebody help me!" not because she thought it would help, but because she had no other option.
Rebecca started to be herself again. In the blink of an eye she was of Susannah and across the room. She snapped her palm at the door and it banged open. "I'm sorry," she said. "I think there's something wrong with me, and I'm reasonably certain that I'm dangerous."
Susannah sat up, her face furious, eyes red, hair aflame. "You think?" she said sarcastically getting up and running out of the house as fast as she possibly could.
Rebecca walked downstairs slowly. When she got to the bottom she saw Zach there still under her spell, and didn't have the will to undo it or the strength to face what she had done so she turned to go back to her room.Jacob had gone by the school too meet up with Susannah, when she wasnt there he went to her house to wait for her.
Zach stayed there since Rebecca hadn't told him otherwise. Susannah entered her house, shaking, tears silently leaving her eyes, and being really, really glad that her mom was at some board game club, or whatever her knew hobby was, and was home as she walked up to her room.
Jacob was leaning against the wall next to the window."Zach, would you please go and find some animal for me and bring it to the edge of the woods," Rebecca called down the stairs since she was still thirsty. "I'll meet you there in a few minutes."
Susannah sat on her bed and curled into a tiny ball, not even aware that he was there as she tried to get herself together. The Agiel isn't here. They aren't here. The Agiel isn't here. They aren't here. she thought over and over.Zach quickly left into the woods to get an animal.
Jacob sat dow next to her and pulled her into his lap.
Susannah rested her head on his chest, and closed her eyes focusing on the fact that he was there, like she had the last time she'd freaked out over the mord sith. Slowly, the tears and shaking started to stop.
Jacob stroked Susannah's and it moved to reveal Rebecca's carving. "What the h*!l is that?" He asked running his fingers over it.
